I thought Modric had just won it. fudge, these individual awards are confusing and getting fudging stupid. Stick to one, ffs.

Firminho is a decent player, but what the hell is he doing on that list? :p same with pogba and benzema, obviously.

Modric, Messi, Ronaldo, Mbappe and Neymar will be in the top five. A good mix of hype and talent.

As good a year as Modric has had, Bale has had a couple of better ones and still not overhauled the big three.

Would be nice to a see a change.

I'm sure Liverpool fans are unhappy about this, and everything else.

Delighted none of those bin dipping clams won.

I've seen a load of people on BBC giving out that Modric shouldn't have won last year. Do people really not realise what a fudging tremendous player Modric is. Ok, he doesn't score 50 goals a season but he was immense in the World Cup and was magnificent at his best.
