Not sure about Katie Melua (who?) but George Michael aligned himself with the Left in the 80's and i'm sure the Arctic Monkeys would class themselves as uber street Socialists

Yeah right wingers never avoid tax do they? How many corporates are doing the same thing? They're celebrities, so what. Maybe they were just like you...big Style Council devotees and you know, just lost their way ideologically. :ross:

NONSENSE! The Coalition Government of the UNITED Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland are doing the right thing by catching all these tax dodgers and waving a £300m tax bill for Vodafone among other corperate favours

None of them have actually broken the law, this wasn't/isn't illegal, people might argue its morally wrong, but if you were earning **** loads and you had to pay 50-60% of it to the taxman, if there was a loophole what would you do pay the full whack or pay 10% or whatever it is.

She was far better when her hair was frizzy, nearly did not recognise her in the pictures relating to this story(which I will not comment on) I mean she is still pretty and I would bang her and *** on her face but I feel that way about most women to be honest with you.

The list was generated back in 2007-08 in her frizzy days. When making such a list you must take several factors into consideration: looks, location, availability, celebrity status - to name some.
I've got a soft spot for curly, black hair and faces that have a bit of character, rather than the popular airbrush look. And she has a certain mystique about her, jes nes su quoi? or whatever the baguettes call it.
Katie frequents Norway quite a bit, or at least she used to.
I think she was single back then. Believe she's married now and I think she got married on the same day I did two years ago, so there's that. Great opener.
On celebrity status, she's just right. Not too big, I'm guessing she can leave the house without a fleet of paparazzi on her back.

My wife's reaction to Katie being top of my list was pretty funny, almost as funny as the reaction I got when I later told her I had tickets to see her perform in Trondheim. She was hoping I'd put down Britney Spears or Mila Kunis or Brad Pitt or some other improbable Hollywood person - but with Katie she's knows there's a possibility I one day could refer her to the list when she walks in on us.

I played the same trick with my wife on our list. She has Justin Timberlake, Ryan Gosling, etc. good for her.

I have the local news chick, and a girl who works where we do our shopping.

Yes New Labour were conservative. Plus you do not have to be poor to believe in greater social justice.

Or the Right who do not believe in Government spending unless it is on pet projects such as free schools.

Read up on your history, George was a staunch Labour supporter in the 80's / 90's he was in downing street apparently the night Blair got into power, he'd sat up all night praying they'd win the election........ ignorance is strength we have got on our side, i thought you were a teacher don't you read up on these things before posting.....

btw Nice strike today, my kids got a day off school they were more than happy....... i trust those that took the day off won't be getting paid?

i don't get why this is news, the only people in this country paying the right amount of tax are those on PAYE, every other person and every single company is avoiding in some way, we need to stop blaming the accountants and get the govt to sort the ****ing laws out
