Having visited the genocide memorial museum in Kigali, I can tell you that it's patently obvious that he was a coward for sure, but he was a coward 'on the make'

Very sad revisionism. But soundbite media wants us to remember him as a nice man...

Former cyclist Javier Otxoa has died at 43 years of age after a long illness.

He won on top of the Hautacam in the TdF in 2000, but in February 2001 a car hit him and his twin brother Ricardo during training. Ricardo died. Javier survived but was in a coma for a month and became seriously disabled.

In the 2004 Summer Paralympics he won a gold in the road race/time trial event and a silver in the individual pursuit. In 2008 he won another gold in the time trial and silver in the road race.
