I've watched practically every minute he's played and on the whole he has done well but there's still a lot there for him to improve on. The positives are that he's been able to transfer his dribbling ability into the seniors, he's beating opponents easily and winning a ton of fouls. He's also...

Do we play the kids in the champs league now?

If Pochettino couldn't do it last season even with top spot already guaranteed I don't think there's much danger of him doing it this time around either.

Think he's signing for City now.

It's curious to me that if a player doesn't make it it's all down to them, but if they do it's all thanks to the manager. Maybe they don't have what it takes but we'll never know if they don't get the chance to play. Having said that though, when KWP comes in and is awarded man of the match in...

But only after three years and two years(respectively) of them becoming full-time trainers, so essentially an admission that his way of integrating them had failed.

Whilst he's not blameless in what's happened, he's hardly the only one seeing a lack of progression. KWP and Onomah are two years older than he is and are token squad players at best, what's the motivation for Edwards if that's where it's going to get him? We've also had four highly thought of...

I don't know, possibly. Skipp is younger but he's just played a full season of U23s as well as being a regular in our U19 UEFA Youth League side, whereas Reo has mostly just been playing U18s.

Not a contract, just an extension to his scholarship - which doesn't mean a great deal in the grand scheme of things. He's older than Skipp by a couple of months, though because Skipp's a September born he's in the club year below Griffiths.

Our coaching and facilities are as good as anyone's but we pay like a small club and give chances like a big club so we're a bit neither here nor there.

He wasn't under contract so we won't have even been involved in the deal, we will receive a small amount of compensation but that's about it. Still, if we are to lose players it's better to see them try their luck abroad rather than leaving for the money that our rivals are willing to throw at them.

    James Maddison

He didn't have an op, just turned out to be strained ligaments rather than torn. He's due to start pre-season as normal.

He did well all the way through, France were surprisingly limp in attack though and the US contained them well. He did make a good block on Mbappe when he was through but was perhaps partially at fault for the goal France did score.

Not official, but as good as: Jaden Brown and Shayon Harrison have also both had their deals extended until next summer.

My views on those listed above: Glover (GK) - Looked a talented keeper at U18 level but struggled when he moved up to the U23s. What he has going for him is height and agility, unfortunately though he's very error-prone - which isn't so much of a problem early on as long as they learn from it...
