***OMT***Tottenham Hotspur FC v Woolwich Wanckers

Swap Ade for Soldado and ill be confident of us scoring based on the last 5 - 10 mins.

defensively we've been good, addition of naughton?

Not all pressing high up the pitch. Tho we've started to a bit more, we're happy to drop off and defend deeper.

Its a bit of a role reversal...we normally dominate possession and teams hit us onthe break. We've kind of had the better scoring chances.

Watching Ade casually walk back onside is the maddest Ive been all week, get Bobby on.

decent half that - think we actually looked the more dangerous, good to see them forced in to two substitutions already with Wheelchair also carrying a bit of a knock.

HT Thoughts:
--

Defensively look good, all solid. Capoue and Mason playing like they did in pre-season when helping defensively..
Mason looks good, composed. Good debut so far.
We look good on the counter, just need to make it count.
Get Lamela on corners please.

Pleased we've seen Poch show he doesn't only have one way of setting the team up.

All to play for! Has Poch got some pots of confidence he can give to the players out there? You can see them worry when they get the ball. Happens when the other team controls the ball, you don't get a touch and then when you do your 'rusty'

Ade has been shocking, even by his standards. Other than that I'm more than happy to take a performance like this.

Thing frustrating is when Ade comes outwide, no one is in the box. i'm not neccesarily blaming Ade, more somone not realising Ade is out wide and busting ass to get in the box

We've clearly decided to sit deep and look for breakaways. That's fine, but Mason isn't the deep-lying player you'd look for at the edge of the box when the counter-attack reaches Arsenal's area. Similarly, Chadli's lack of pace and inconsistency is working against him. Dembele should have been on the bench, but failing that, perhaps bringing Soldado on to solidify the midfield a bit (due to his propensity for dropping deep) might be useful, since Ade hasn't done much.

Decent half, despite Arsenal's comfort level throughout the 45. We need to make it count. COYS!

We have played deep. Parked bus a bit. And it has so far paid dividends. Wow. First time in a while we have played like this. Let's hope we snatch one and win. COYS

Still like the way Arsenal have pressed us when we try to play it from the back, they seem to have every angle covered whereas we seem to always leave a man in space when they buid from the back. I'd very much like to see us do that. I think Mason has looked good in the brief moments we have had the ball and Rose has shown some good moments mixed with some bad. Kaboul has for the most part been good although some of his decisions such as rushing to smash the ball clear when he could easily pass it are annoying. Ade looks utter ****e atm. He's got wide and worked Koscielny and Mertesacker but wtf was that non effort about??? Should've made it 1-0
