Coronavirus

Really happy to hear you are okay, buddy; was worrying when we hadn’t heard anything.

Ah thanks thats sweet.

Was a truly horrible few days, feel better then i did but so tired.

Dont know about anyone else but im just so tired, physically i expect that my body has just had the crap beaten out of it, but mentally. Would not say I was depressed, dont know how to articulate it actually. I kind of feel like im done, just want to sit in my conservatory and stare at my acer trees till all this fcuks off.

Was scared about going to china in the first place for a couple of years before going then it all kicked off out there and then i beat it then come back and then get it, then the whole world seems to have gone to pot. Im just done with it all, but then I need to keep my spirits up because of my lad. It makes me respect the war time generation so much more, I have a few mishaps and i want to go hide in my house.

Communism is but corona has bought socialism back to the forefront. In fact I've never heard as many capitalists screaming for socialism in my life (not true socialism I know - just the bits that they need).

Also there was a joke in there about them being social to you, but if you have to explain it....

It is why I keep going on about vertical farming. Countries long term need to move towards being completely self sufficient. I think travel is amazing and wish everyone could travel, but the thing i liked about corbyn and do like about him was the localism aspect of it all.

The wife says the is a show on bbc1 called the repair shop i would like, set in a museum not far from where we used to live in chichester, i need something slow and nice natured right now. So i will go watch that then go back to bed.

Stay safe everyone.

Well just got back from hospital. I am private but every time I have had to use the NHS they have been amazing and I can not question or criticise anything they did. Without going over the top, they just saved my life.

Tested positive, still feel rough but am able to breathe properly now. Will be self isolating at home, my immune system was still low because of the chemo out in China in January, they could not quite believe it when i told them where i had been.

It has been the strangest few months of my life and im just so glad my wife and son appear fine at the moment.

Dont think i have ever been so tired in my life. It was also the scariest time of my life. Just want this year to be over and see something nice and positive happen. Got to sit in the conservatory this afternoon looking at the garden with the sun on it and it felt like paradise.

Think people should all be nicer to one another because life is short.
Sorry to hear it got you!
Chin up Mr and lots of those weird walks in the garden!
My daughter got ‘it’ bad at weekend and has been rough!
Keep the good fight going!

It'll die again the moment everyone see their new tax bills required to pay for all this.

My son's school went on a trip there recently.

Lazy bugger still doesn't want to help when I fix stuff.

Maybe. To be honest I think it is unfettered capitalism that really needs to be put out to pasture. That has brought us to the brink. As one person put it...."“Coronavirus has basically turned off the global economy. Let’s install a new operating system before we turn it back on.”
I'll have to put you on ignore now, won't I?

There are millions of socialist but as a movement it's dead, this is the ME generation, people are more concerned about clever cats and how tinkled they got last night, you'll see when things get tough. Saw plenty of ordinary people moaning about the old and disabled being let in first at Sainsburys this morning. [

I would say the opposite. The social-democratic movement is on the rise in response to rising autocracy. The me generation, as you put it, is just the sandwich filler. They are oblivious to everything unless it is on instaface.

Lovely dream and the megalomaniacs and egotists that get to the top will sell out in a heartbeat once they get power. Socialism has been murdered by it's leaders, Just look back to Tony Blair, he did more to destroy the Labour Party than any opponent and allow Corbyn and his creeps to crawl back.

DELIGHTED you are pulling through. Won't be long now before the fishnets and custard can prevail once more. You were missed, so as the strength returns, post some more thoughts my friend.

To be honest I know little about politics of the Blair era, but I'm not talking about the UK. The UK is beyond saving for a generation. I'm talking about the wider geopolitical landscape.

Good to see you back mate, keep trucking.

Modern leftists are less interested in change than they are people noticing them caring about something.

That's why all the social media screeching continually fails to materialise at the ballot box.
