Fair play to the lad taking a pen. I don't think him missing has any bearing on how ready he is for first team football and it won't have a long term effect on him.

He came in and was in the area struggling away and gradually as the game went in retreated further and further back

That’s why Jose isn’t playing him as the expectation and pressure is massive
