The Fight for Europa

40 points looks a long way off. Who is left that we can beat? We might beat Norwich twice. Who else? There’s is no way we’ll beat the likes of Burnley. Maybe Bournemouth at home?

Arsenal that’s about it, and Bournemouth might be pushing our luck.

Definitely. And of course two wins against Wolves and Chelski would come in handy too...
Even a win and a draw there.

I expect mourinho to ramp up the "it's better to be in front" rhetoric the next few weeks. He will know Chelsea are full of youngsters and can pile the pressure on them phycologically.

Six points up to fourth. Still not halfway through the season.

It won't be easy, but the race for top four is far from over.
Definitely. Other teams are showing weaknesses as well and we're finally finding some form.

Mourinho will have some time on the training ground in the next couple of weeks. He's only getting started.

Indeed we are still in the race, the team seems to be getting the spark back again and we are not out of it.

Cann Table. Pretty chocker midtable as we go into Christmas, eh?

Always enjoy seeing the proper league table like that!

Scary that Chelsea are as close to Watford as they are Liverpool!

I know I'll sound a bit crazy...but while I think they're a very good bet for 3rd now....I don't think Leicester are totally uncatchable if we catch a bit of good form. And perhaps even go out of the CL relatively early.

I bizarrely believe mate...

The players should know what it takes now... If it's the nous and guile of Mourinho that drag some of our fragile, prima donna's over the line, then so be it. Shame it won't be with Poch (it will in spirit) but I believe too.

So if we beat Chelsea next weekend then we can go 4th, always a huge game but even more so with what's riding on it and the Mourinho factor. Glad he has a clear week now to work with the squad.

Yep, the week will be important

- 4th with a win against Blue Scum
- Brighton, Norwich and Southampton to follow
- Then chance to put the wobble on Pool in Jan

I'm with you. The win yesterday was massive and if we could win our next 4, then with Leicester having a couple hard games coming up, we could be just say 7 points behind them in early Jan
