Serge Aurier

Third year in and still seeing him do the stupid brick that he did in his first. I think we all had hoped that he'd be past all that by now, but no. He'd really had a good couple of games against Leicester and Palace too.

You may be right but you do not give the referee a decision to make in those circumstances. Not when Redmond was on his own and Tony and Jan were running back in line. If he had got a second yellow for a mistimed tackle I would have accepted that. But such a blatant schoolboy error of judgement is unconscionable from a supposed professional.

It is well documented that I think Aurier is a clown and a liability - and this is the reason why....

Well Stop! Hammer time but i think the ref saw something that was not there and should have booked the player for diving. Instead of giving more excuses for those who think he is a clown to slag him off ( in this case unfairly).

this, Aurier didn’t grab a shirt or kick a leg, there was clear space between the two players, the ref may have an excuse of the angle but the assistant would have been able to call it correctly had he been up with play
