Anyone notice that perfect pass from Ndombele to set Lamela on his way there before setting up Kane? Lovely simple pass, played hard enough setting lamela on his way, saving us that extra second to pull away from Leicesters midfield. Details, but damn, stuff like that is so important. Lovely to see. :)

Indeed. More of that please Tanguy.

The positive of hopefully taking this lead to the second half is that they have to come at us even more, then we can pick them off on the counter.

1-0 HT. A win here would be amazing - they're a decent team and most top 6 teams would go to Leicester and think that a point is far from a disaster

We're playing well, continuing from the Palace game, which is very encouraging. Both Fullbacks have been good, CM midfield very good, Winks being more progressive and Sissoko's defensive work excellent in general. Lamela has been great but let's see if he is still walking in a month or two. If he could stay fit then he would be an excellent creative player.

A couple observations:

1) Leicester seem really up for it, West Ham “cup final” stylee. A win would nicely put them in their place.

2) Aurier and Rose have played well. Our FBs really are important to how we play.

Certainly agree with the second point. Wonder whether this will influence what Poch does re the RB situation. Foyth has looked good there the couple times he's player there, but he will never be able to given the attacking pace which Aurier brings, or which Walker gave us to better effect before. Think we need a second a RB, ideally in Jan, who is strong going forwards. We're going to dominate most games which we play and need our full backs to give us the width
