Tanguy Ndombele

Berbs on his own v Bolton when we were down to 10 was superb. I think when he started he used to chase stuff down, then when he’d established himself and his quality he was either given allowance to be more static or his ego dictated it.

For some really technical players I think it’s better for the ball to come to them rather than seek it, I may be in a minority but I think Eriksen should cover less ground so he’d be in the right places to do more damage as a recipient of the ball higher up the pitch, ditto Kane who started dropping deeper last season.

That Bolton performance was certainly a case of brains beating brawn.

Yeah, his performance against Bolton was epic. :)

It was a lovely ball through for Moura. Having a player that can break lines and play an aggressive pass will be a real asset.
He had just come on, and what impressed me is he saw the juve crossfield pass, pulled it down then turned and passed into moura's running line. Intelligence, drive and aggression which was great to see. I'll be closely following his progress

It might just have been an almighty fluke after a Juve mistake, but that really was a beautiful pass. Threaded the needle between about three players, all of whom were on the move. A foot or two either way or a little less pace on the ball and it wouldn't have been a goal. The idea of a Dembele-style line-breaker with an eye for a killer pass makes my trousers uncomfortable.

Good finish from Moura too, mind.
