Moussa Sissoko

Excellent today, sidestepped a few challenges, physical in defence and hit a few decent cross field passes. He’s very measured in his passing, as in he’s concentrating super hard and better players than him get sucked into those shooooot chants (Wanyama for example!). I’m struggling to think of such a wholesale improvement from a player.

While Trippier was again found wanting. I really think we should play Dier in the RB role. Would make us so much more solid.

Ha, you’ll love irony of this but I disagree! I agree that we need to find a solution to the Tripps issue, but Dier in that slot for me only works as an emergency in a 4. But Tripps is an issue. He owes Sissoko a fair few dinners at this point. More than any player, the World Cup has seriously thrown him.

Isn’t it part of sissokos job to cover for Trippier when he goes forward as instructed by Poch?

You're claiming that as a pass?!

It was a hoof out - a decent one, but a clearing hoof all the same
That is your bias speaking. He clearly directed that towards Son. He knew that Son was positioned there to keep some Leicester players back. Probably something worked on in training.
