Cream crackered?

apparently there are FIFA rules that dictate players involved in internsational matches/tournaments are not allowe to be recalled by their club for a set period. if this was even as little as 12 hours it would have ruled Sonny out of returning for today. i expect he will be back at training tomorrow. but wouldn't be shocked to learn he had returned back home to Korea for 24 hours.

Talksport saying Christian and Sissoko injures

Sissoko unsurprising. Took a bad knock from Serge and limped off. Even with swelling down over following 48hours it'd be too risky after previous injury.

Unfortunately think we need the big strong fellas as Palace pose a fair bit of muscle

I'm gonna be honest, I think our team looks pretty gash on paper. Hopefully, we can play well enough to get a result, but I'm not gonna be that angry if we lose this, given that XI.

jesus what kind of fudging team is that!!???!?! Cheers Poch. #Rollover

He did say in advance that we would rotate....so in addition to no Dele, Kane, Son and Sissoko being injured/unavailable, it seemed clear that Alderweireld and probably Eriksen or Lamela would be left out

Given 12 PL teams have already been knocked out though, the FA Cup is wide open

fudging hell, bare fudging bones. Not exactly a great looking team.

Lets hope we can just get through this one and start getting more players back for the next round.

With Davies, Sissoko, Eriksen, Son, Dele and Kane out and the need for Toby and Winks to get a rest, does Poch have much choice regarding team selection?

Dont think he has honestly.

PRECISELY!! BLOODY GO FOR IT!!
Rose should be playing, not on bench. Lamela too for at least a tad of potential creativity in Eriksen's absence. Skipp isn't ready for a Prem team clash of this nature IMO. Foyth over Toby????

Too many risks there. Andros and Wilf must be licking their lips!

Its really just the front 3 which looks a bit ropey. The defence and midfield looks solid enough

Yeah, this looks like a case of Poch just treating the competition as a distraction. It's good to get some players minutes, but the fact he's resting most of our starting XI (those that are fit) means he's more bothered about keeping league position.
