We have to play our BEST team, as after the disappointed of the semi final loss in the League Cup,
this is our ONLY chance of silverware.
This game will be won or lost in the midfield. Hope ALL our midfielders will be available.
Wish Kane & Dele could return soon.

We've been picking up quite a few injuries recently where fatigue might have been a factor. Another injury or two like that could be a massive blow to our prospects in all three competitions we remain in. If Pochettino decides that this is the time to rest some players I would definitely support that decision.

Hard to get motivated for Cup matches like these. Cup matches are meaningless unless we are going to win the Cup. Unfortunately we don't seem to take the Cup competitions seriously anymore. We have never been convincing in almost all the Cup matches under Pochettino. Really wish Pochettino will change his approach and make it a priority to win at least 1 Cup every season. After all we have not win any Cup since 2008. Even worse we have not won the FA Cup since 1991, despite being the most successful team in the FA Cup at one time. Playing away at Palace is not going to be easy as our matches against them have always been tight. In fact the last 6 matches between us and Palace have finished 1-0, with us winning 5 and losing 1. Our only defeat came when we lost to them in the FA Cup Round 5 at home in 2016. So, we need to take revenge on them for that defeat by beating them away this time.

With Kane and Alli still out injured, we need all our key players to lift their game. Don't think Son will be available for this match after playing in the Asia Cup. We need the likes of Eriksen, Lamela, Moura and Llorente to have their best game to help us win this match. Both Eriksen and Lamela have been out of form in recent matches. Wish they both will use this match to get back their form. Lamela was in brilliant form at the start of the season. It will help us greatly if he can rediscover that form by scoring or assisting a goal or two in this match.

Our options seems limited in midfield. Sissoko does not look fully fit after getting injured while Wanyama is still out injured. I think we have to rely on Winks and Dier in midfield. I am not fully convinced of having Winks and Dier together in midfield. Maybe we can play someone like Sanchez or Foyth with Winks in midfield.

Our defence had a mixed match against Chelsea. It was really disappointing to concede the 2 goals the way we did. Lloris, Vertonghen and Alderweireld really need to be alert all the time. We need to avoid making silly errors. Also, we should always look our for those long range shots which other teams tend to make against us nowadays. It will help us greatly if our defence can keep the clean sheet in this match.

It is going to be another tense match against Palace. Performance is not really important in Cup matches as long as we win. Let's hope we will turn up with the right team and mentality to beat Palace and progress to the next round of the FA Cup.

We seem to be getting too many injury problems this season. Wish we can have all our players fully fit soon. Palace will make it tough for us. We need to get an early goal to help us settle our nerves and then go for more goals to kill the game off. Hope we will put up a convincing performance and get a comfortable win over Palace to progress to the FA Cup Round 5.

Why isn't Son available - at least on the bench? His team were knocked out of the Asian whatever in the week. Surely we could have flown him straight back and use him today? After all, we are paying his wages!!!!!

We lost on penalties on Thursday, we did not lie down!!

The problem if there is one is the sheer number and frequency of these games!

It was noticeable to me before and after the Kante goal that we were not closing down anyone on the edge of the area from corners.

We need to rectify this tout suite.

Absolutely, we let Kante have a free shot and then didn't pick up their players on the edge of the box at the next corner. I've no idea what that was about. But it needs to stop. Regarding Son, he's said he's running on empty yesterday.

it might be wishful thinking on my part but, as sad as it seems, the FA Cup seems a distraction for teams at either end of the table. All 6 teams below Palace are already out and will benefit from less games in their survival battle. Hodgson is the ultimate pragmatist - they have Southampton in midweek an that will take precedence over this afternoons game.

You woul think it would be the mid-table sides comfortably away from relegation zone who should really go all out for a cup run but Everton, west ham, leicester and bournemouth (and woolwich! :)) are all out and brighton and wolves need replays.
