The Official 2018/19 Premier League Thread

He got them up!
He’s players are nothing much also!
Arsenal have much much more resource wise. It’s a non contest!

They spent £100m in the summer and look a shambles. Not 1 clean sheet all season, only team in the league to fail to keep a clean sheet. Another bad result and they could be in the bottom 3.

They will struggle alright, but they knew they would. staying up is their only real priority.
It’s like Brighton last season?

9 wins, yeh fair enough but look at the brick they have played

West Ham Watford Brentford Everton Vorskla Poltava Saudi Sportswashing Machine Cardiff Qarabag Fulham

Tis true, the quality of the opposition is not top notch but they've played some decent football in those wins. Defensively they've still got a way to go but their midfield and attacking play is pretty fluid. Winning is a habit and is all good for building up squad harmony.

They're progressing rather than regressing :(...We need to up our game!

Will be three from the current bottom five and maybe Brighton. Saudi Sportswashing Machine should have enough to scrape through, but those are six terrible teams.

Huddersfield and Cardiff look goners. They can't score (4 goals) or defend (17 goals) and a -13 GD after 8 games is terrible. Kind of puts yesterday into perspective. Saudi Sportswashing Machine and Southampton are a bit better on both counts. Fulham have conceded more but can score goals. I see Saudi Sportswashing Machine and Fulham getting better, but Southampton are following on from last season.

Of course relegation predictions in October are nearly always wrong.
