Going back to Wembley feels a bit crap, but just holding out for a few more months now. Fulham didn't impress me at all vs Palace, but I'm expecting them to be more cautious today, sit back and counter. Could be a frustrating day if we don't get going early on. I reckon we'll edge it though. Kane to get that bloody august goal. Come on, Tottn'm!

Email from the club this afternoon says no overground trains into Wembley Central on Saturday, which scuppers my usual route up from Dorset (drive to Richmond and train it from there). I would imagine Wembley Park is going to be even more chaotic than usual.

Anyone got any clever suggestions for me about somewhere to park and ride from?

We do either Hillingdon or Ickenham and get the Metropolitan line in.

Quite honestly I feel like our great club has been raped, pillaged, and then raped again this past week from everyone including the media, rival fans and shameful infighting between our own fans.

Our collective asse has taken one ell of a pounding...we have been well and truly violated in line with the best levels that Satan and his minions could offer.

So what we need is an actual football game where we all come together with a collective fudge you! And put on a bit of a display.

Poch and the boys it's over to you to remind every Chianti and his dog that we are a bloody good football team and were on the up.

We might have fallen off the horse and been laughed at but let's get back on it and give the cottagers a darn good shafting...

Come on poch and the boys....let's roll!

Indeed. If this was United in Fergie's reign, they would use it to galvanise them and give their opposition a reet good hiding....but this is Tottenham, probably a scrappy 2-1 win (because we wont keep a clean sheet)

Can win but we look so shaky last week I'd rather not start hoping, and just settle for an entertaining game and take whatever the results.

I am confident that the boys will be trying harder

After starting the season with the win over Saudi Sportswashing Machine last week, we need to continue the winning momentum against Fulham at home. Wish we are playing this match at our new stadium but at least we had a good record at Wembley last season. We need to continue our good record at Wembley as long as we are playing there this season. We have won our last 3 matches against Fulham. Let's hope we will continue our winning run against them in this match.

Kane's jinx in the month of August will again be the talking point. Let's hope Kane will overcome his jinx by scoring against Fulham. Kane has only scored 1 league goal against Fulham before but he did score the hattrick when we beat Fulham 3-0 in the FA Cup in 2017. Kane looked tired against Saudi Sportswashing Machine after playing in the World Cup. We really need other players to help Kane get his first ever goal in August, either by creating goal scoring chances or by getting a penalty for him. It will help us greatly if others like Alli and Eriksen can score a goal or two as well. After all, Alli did well to score against Saudi Sportswashing Machine. Wish Lamela will be fit to start this match. We really missed his creativity and work rate against Saudi Sportswashing Machine.

Our midfield seems to be affected by injury and fitness problems. Wanyama and Dembele seems to be injury prone nowadays. Wish we had bought a quality midfielder in the transfer window. It looks like we have to rely on Dier and Sissoko again in this match. Sissoko is still struggling to prove his worth to us. For all his work rate, his passing and finishing seems to be poor. Wish Sissoko can lift his game and help us this season.

It is good to see our defence being fully fit now. Wish Alderweireld can start this match. It will really improve our defence when we have Alderweireld playing. Sanchez still tends to make easy mistakes. I think Alderweireld heads the ball much better than Sanchez. It was good to see Vertonghen scoring his first league goal in 6 years. Let's hope Vertonghen can get more goals for us. After all, we don't seem to get enough goals from our defenders even if it is not their main duties.

With us playing ManU away next, we need to win this match against Fulham at home. We need to continue our good record at Wembley to get us that win. With this being a London derby, it is going to be a tight and tense match. We need to get an early goal to help us settle down and then go for more goals to kill the game off. Let's hope we will turn up with the right team and mentality to beat Fulham and continue our winning run.

Everybody dance now!

We need to perform much better than we did against Saudi Sportswashing Machine last week. After the disappointing transfer window where we failed to sign any players, it will really lift our morale to get a big win against Fulham at home. Let's hope we will put up a convincing performance and get a comfortable win against Fulham to continue our winning form.

Super strong team. Delighted to see Toby starting and Lamela and Winks on the bench.

Think we'll win comfortably, hope Moura makes an impact today too.

Sitting in the same seat as I had last year in CW, be interesting to see if any of the people who sat near me will be in the same seats today.

Also for the first ‘home’ game of the season it’s all feeling a bit subdued in and around the ground.

Different beers being served at the bars (pints of Bud/Bud Light, Magners) too
