The Official 2017/18 Premier League Thread

Not sure if this is being discussed in another forum but how fcuking good does Phil Foden look?!

Did he play tonight?

I really like the look of him, he should be playing more often. This kid could be the best central english midfielder since Hoddle. No chance of getting him sadly, but I do feel for English football that I wished he had come through at Southampton, then moved to City in his 20s. Hope he can have a proper career.

trouble follows pardew around, i heard he's won 7 out of the last 53 PL games he;'s managed, should be his last job in football.
That’s a similar record to Moyes before he joined West Ham.

Just making the comparison, not drawing any conclusions from that.

Stoke ahead at the break, with a Harry Enfield goal somewhat against the flow, in terms of possession at least. Leicester flattering to deceive in a game that never looked destined to be a classic. Uninspiring fixture list today.

Leicester should have won that; the Stoke goal led a charmed life in the closing stages. Lambert screaming at his player to "Run the corner! Run the corner!" on one of their forays forward in injury time probably tells us all we need to know about his ambitions.

Lovely Huddersfield attack that ends with one idiot blocking a shot from his own team and then getting in the way of his team mate when the ball is played back in.

Earlier Rodriguez (I think) completely missed the ball when attempting to shoot and ended up running away from goal with the ball still at his feet.

Not expecting any favours today. Will be a good weekend for Salahpool as Cheslea or United, or both will drop points tomorrow. Up to us to make it a good one for us too
