Fixture & Ticket News 2016/17

Might they just say £15 for membership, no ticketing benefits anymore? Would suit me as an overseas member.

I can see that such an option might be preferable to members who don't attend games (which I imagine is a fair chunk).

It'd make zero sense from a business perspective though. My point is that current circumstances put current membership revenues at risk. The club will surely want to address that risk and preserve said revenue stream.

These damn swear filters...what a rooster up!

That shows where your loyalties REALLY lie. Are they more interested in a quick buck or Tottenham.

After watching Warrington since 9yrs old before I fell out of love with club, I still regret not going to the last ever match at Wilderspool. It would take an offer of something truly outrageous to consider missing the last match at the old WHL.

I wouldn't sell my ticket at any price. This literally is the once in a lifetime event, if you had a ticket and then sold it then you can never pay for the memories May 14th will create.......I don't understand how anyone can put a value on it tbh

I'll give you £10K for it?

Unsuccessful in attempt to get tickets but still thinking of travelling up with my daughter to be there on the last day at the old ground. Sample the atmosphere, wander round and the watch the game in The Bricklayers.

Anyone know if the club are expecting similar from a large number of fans?

Indeed it is, but I would say there is a limit. I mean, i doubt it would ever happen, but what if we are talking life-changing amounts, £100k or more.

This is what I was getting at when i mentioned outrageous amounts of money

Amen brother.

The 3 weirdo's in the row behind me were talking about selling their tickets for the United game, somebody had offered them £1,200 for all 3

Heard a few people on Sunday saying they had been offered £400 for their ticket. Maybe that's what the professional touts are offering.

I've often wondered this too. In theory, the card system ought to be effective against the touts. In practice, I seem to see as many of them at games as ever....
It's the ultimate scam: Sell the card for a huge amount, report it lost/stolen, get a new card from the club, attend the game yourself, only richer.

That might work once or twice, but surely the club would catch on pretty quick. The continued presence of regular touts makes me think there's some other way around it possibly?

My brother did that for the arsenal game and said the atmosphere was worth it

Do the deal with the tout outside the ground, then go to the TO and say you've lost your card and need a paper ticket for the game. Give that to the tout and keep your card.
Does mean going to the game with no intention of going in, which would be a bit odd.

Want to get a paper ticket for the last game as a memento, does anyone know if i take my membership card to the ticket office do i need anything else to get a print-out?

Good idea, I hadn't thought of doing that. Don't show them your card, say you've left it at home or they might not print you a ticket. You'll just need photo ID.

I was just going to say i tried to use it but it wouldnt let me in... although if everyone turns up and does that i may have just shot myself in the foot
