Transfer Rumour Bolleaux

I am sick of spurs but I live and I am Argentine and I say that driusi is a common player, who is having a bit of luck but does not stand out at all. I hope we do not buy it

Thanks for the update @anfon

Out of curiosity, how is Lamela viewed in Argentina?

He turns 30 in two months, would require a hefty fee and ridiculous wages and I think there are serious question marks over his suitability for a hard working team like us.
I guess the question is whether he isn't prepared to work hard full stop, or he has just stopped working at West Ham because of promises made by the owners when convincing him to sign his new contract that have since clearly been broken.

Think how good he would be off the bench in games that we on top in and looking to turn a loss or draw into a win, also think of his ability to help us unlock those teams who come to WHL and park the bus.

Lastly consider how many corners and attacking free kicks that we get and imagine his delivery of those?

As you say his fee and wages would be prohibitive, but he would be a real different game changing type of player to have as part of the squad.

I fully expect that he will end up at PSG for 30 odd million and 200 grand a week, which is about twice what I would want us to pay for him, but he would be a piece of the puzzle that we don't really currently have.

Psst, psst, want some more??

Some ITK seen on another Spurs board about us buying Jacob Murphy from Norwich:

eduardosmartez on ftl:

Friend of mine who works in the academy at Norwich has told me that Spurs are close to doing a deal for Jacob Murphy. We've also taken a look at his brother but so far not made an offer for him.

He says that other prem clubs are sniffing around but we are in the driving seat and it's close

Payet looks like he's put on a bit of weight since the summer. IMO he doesn't look fully fit.

Wham would never sell him to us anyways, he'll probably end up in China.

Looked at his and Snodgrass stats (Oh how they love a stat on this site) and there's virtually no difference so using Spammers pricing policy a bid of about £6-8m should get him.

Agree with that. The fee would be out of kilter with his age
