That was a demonstration of Harry's football intelligence that has continued to mature. He didn't have to do that but it was undoubtedly the smart thing to do when we were trying to run the clock down.
 
Ok, it was just a friendly against a poor Inter side, but Winks really impressed me today. Looked ao mature and confident. Think we'll see a lot from him this season.
 
Bentaleb was good, but he isn't -that- good at football. this guy seems really light on his feet, fast to move, a quick, great passer who tends to be quite accurate and gets his foot stuck in. looks ready for first team to be honest, no loans required.
 
Seems neat and tidy, fairly good and very young. A bit like Carroll but younger and a tad stronger. Hopefully he will develop a lot more over the next 4 years and get up to the level of Dier Wanyama Dembele etc. I liked Bentaleb a lot when he arrived... Thought he had technique, desire, skill and physique... But not attitude it seems

Presumably he lives in London, so he still can't afford to drink in one!
 
What a superb performance from the young man. Both he and Carroll, who was also excellent, kept the ball moving so quickly Gillingham were chasing shadows all night.

Very impressed with Winks and i am a fan of the way Carroll plays, the way they kept the ball moving was good to see.
 
I am not going to get carried away after one match but there is something about this kid, I am looking forward to seeing more of him. Even though he will not be starting in the league just yet I would love to see him coming on as a sub, particularly when the game has been won
