OMT ***Tottenham Hotspur vs Saudi Sportswashing Machine***

no point bagging on the likes of Mason and Carroll, the experienced heads that have been through this before are the targets of my ire, Lloris, Toby, Verts, Eriksen, they all failed to show any leadership in the last 4 games, they should have been dragging us through

And now I'm sat outside a train station which is closed for engineering works waiting half hour for a cab - all I need is the driver to have an Arsenal shirt on and the day will be complete

we should have just played like we have all season. we needed 3 points from 4 games to finish above arsenal.

im not even cross anymore. actually, i am: i'm angry at myself for forgetting what club this is and how fudging brick we are.

What the Fu#k Happened.
I had the misfortune to invite a few people to watch the game ( yes it was shown live in Kenya )
To lose 5-1 is a disaster. That is the worst result we have had for many years
Let me have a few more "stiff" bloody Marys, and I will sleep.
COYS

I'm staying home for 2 days. No social media or live Tv. Wound up as it is

I am genuinely struggling to take this in!

This is arguably worse than chelsea winning the champs league, west ham beating us on the final day, arse winning the league at the lane. fudge we really know how to do it, like some club with a fetish for humiliation.

Even the money i won betting on Saudi Sportswashing Machine at half time means nothing.

Well that was all a bit weird.

Sitting on my porcelain throne using viagra
yeah it was. it makes a good season turn into a depressing one. still at least we're not going to be managerless in the championship i guess! i should keep things in perspective a bit i guess.

the relegation issues were pretty sweet: glad villa are down, glad Saudi Sportswashing Machine went down (even funnier that sunderland relegated them). dont care about Norwich though. A third flimflam big club wannabe wouldve been funny as fudge. Everton wouldve been class.

Absolute fudging shambles of a day - you could not make it up.

As far as I can see, the only way Tottenham Hotspur can lose its ingrained lack of mental fortitude is through the fans consciously deciding to stop fearing the worst - the only other thing at a club that is permanent is its history, and we can't change that. But sadly I think the fans are too psychologically broken by our recent history to be able to overcome it.

If we don't bounce back as a club next season, I fear we may be broken for a long time to come.

Luckily, as brick as the last four games have been, I am confident that we will bounce back come next season - and more. I just wish we could make WHL a fortress, no matter what the players are doing in the pitch. WE are the club, let's grow some fudging balls and turn this loser DNA around!

Silverware or nothing. Lets not become 3rd loser settlers like Arsenal

We threw away our chances of that by sending out a second string against Dortmund, remember?

Mason's injured. He'll have his operation this week and hopefully be back to last season's level again next season.

This is the best and most mentally strong squad we've had in 50 years.

No point overreacting basically because the squad have been mourning losing the title.

Mason's operation is necessary, but that shouldn't change the fact that he should be bottom of the list in terms of preferred midfielders, the last man in the 25. He has to work his way back up, and should *not* be relied on in any capacity whatsoever. Christ, he was beyond awful today, and has been for four weeks. I cannot stand to see us countenance such a paper thin squad heading into next season, where one suspension to Dembele sees us spiral into failure playing Mason and Carroll and suffering for it.

As for *the most mentally strong squad in fifty years*, hah. Hahahahahahahah.

Bullsh*t, these players are no different to the rest. Tweet a picture of a lion, bottle it hopelessly in the following games while a mentally strong side (*really* strong, not the brick we showed after West Brom) see it out and stroll to the title. Some mental strength that is.

This is a collapse. Downplaying it won't help.

^I am not looking forward to next season and I cant blame the home supporters next year for not giving a fvck about the club at the stadium. I am not so sure many people will renew their tickets. This was PAINFUL!!

If you are not renewing because you look finance then that is understandable, otherwise we should not lose sight of the fact that is is our best finish in 26 years the first time we have qualified automatically for the group stage of the CL.

If one cannot give a fuvk about that achievement then I do not give a fuvk about them.

I am hacked off with this performance as much as the next guy but this team has brought me a lot of joy over the last 9 months and I am not going to abandon them now. Anybody can support a tem when things are looking rosy, but it is the real fans who continue supporting when times are hard.

well said. hopefully poch will be able to ensure we approach next season not smashed to pieces. in the last four games we've looked equally as bad, if not worse, than villa.
mason cannot be anywhere near the pitch season, neither can carroll. simply not good enough. onomah has been like a ghost in every single appearance. not ready to be relied on. get him out on loan in league 1 or something and lets see what he can do. because at the moment no one on this earth can convince me he is a premier league quality footballer. might have the potential, who knows, miles off at the moment.

the Dortmund thing will come back into the narrative, can we all remember that after injuries and suspensions we actually only rested two players
