Dragged down to their unambitious level by 7 defenders, ref desperately trying to manufacture a win for them - could have been worse. Boring, boring Victimpool
 
What a brick game. I could only watch the second half and I regret doing so. Liverpool pressed us well and dare I say it they actually looked more competent at doing so than our lads, though that wasn't helped by Lamela making some aweful challenges when we had them pinned back and an officaiting team happy to give Liverpool free-kicks if we sneezed near them.

On that note, that referee is one of the worst in the league. If it wasn't for the fact he didn't give them a pen I'd say he had taken a brown envelope off them at half time. He was absolutely incompetent, the Milner "challenge" on Rose being the worst of many many poor ones.

I'm more wound up by how poor we have looked these last two games than anything else. We didn't pass it around well enough at the back and the long ball down the flanks or up to Kane was not sticking. Perhaps it was due to the international break, but we looked quite disjointed.
 
Bit of a drab game and we've still not won without Son this season but at least we managed to keep a clean sheet without Dier and that's our first point against the Bin Dippers since 2012.
 
Liverpool better in the press which is not surprising looking at the number of defensive minded players and the fooking ref. What a disgraceful performance.
 
Absolute rubbish. I've said if before, but when will people see this is poch's level, he just isnt good enough to get any better out of us, then what we saw today. Stands there staring out onto the pitch with simply no clue what to do. And because he has no clue what to do he simply does nothing.

The fawning knee jerk comments after Emirates Marketing Project were, as predicted, hilarious. Of course some players did'nt peform well and Kane is simply gone at the moment, but Poch is simply not capable of motivating, inspiring or coaching these players to a better level. This is it. What you are watching is as good as it gets. Dont expect more because under Poch it aint coming.
 
I thought I was negative about Poch, weird me saying it, but that is just absurd what you're saying. What was he supposed to do with the bench we had?! Nothing he could do. Townsend is awful, Winks is a kid and we had three defenders.

This game showed how much if a disaster it was not getting another striker and midfielder in the summer. We look frighteningly short of depth.
 
Klopp had blank sheet today. Poch would have had no idea how Liverpool were going to play. With more games the element of surprise will be gone.
 
We've got loads of injuries (another one in the first 10 mins today) and our player of the season was suspended (harshly). The only thing Poch could/should have done was bring Townsend on for lamela 20 minutes earlier.

No one will mention the players we are missing though of course, not even our own fans seem to be making allowances for it!

honisgstein said some crap about us always being "lightweight", and harry ask him when was that? and proceeded to disagree by saying that he didnt think we were lightweight when we had top 4 finishes, champions league etc
