Roberto Soldado

are you trolling? wow this is amazing stuff if you're not.

Do you get the structure of a team changes when a team goes down to 10? regardless of the position the player played. Do you think it's merely a coincidence that we started creating and having more space when the opposition went to 10? jeez i hope you're trolling.

we created before the red though, so youre chatting pure bull****. continue though, its funny hearing you on here every day moaning about those you have an agenda against, I see its Mason thats next on the list.

what? personal?

if that's personal then isn't his original post also personal?

"right we get it, you have your favs and those with no chance."

If you cannot see that saying that someone is being hypocritical when all they are doing is having a different opinion to you is making something personal then I give up hope.

reaction goal? it was a superb touch and a calm finish in the top corner.. shows hes cool when given a chance like that, like when he takes penalties. give him a chance on instinct and he fluffs it..give him time and im confident he'd score a goal. opposite of defoe really. we just dont create THOSE chances often.

I think i should have said 'instinctive'.

When he has no time to think he might score (even then i don't think he will) otherwise he looks like he'll miss all the time.

What examples do you have from his time here backs up your opinion that he'll be very good in a one on one situation?

You know the last couple of seasons when Torres was lumbering around up front for Cheat$ki?

His confidence was shot, he never got it back. He just kept putting himself about and tentatively poking at chances and missing and fluffing.

We need to get rid of guys like this, just like Cheat$ki did.

We are trying to pick between 2 hopeless non-scoring forwards (Soldado and Adebayor) and arguing about their "merits" when they are scant.

Meanwhile we have 17 players trying to play in the hole, it is an absolute joke.

We need a clearer system, we need some width, we need some defending from the front, and we need the good players to be playing, not these jokers.
Seeing as we're finding it pretty tough to find one decent striker to buy, ditching two and trying to replace both sounds unappealing.

Soldado is a very, very distant second in the list of strikers we desperately need to get rid of.

and you have an 'agenda' with Capoue and Adebayor. You see how easy that is :ross:

In actual fact most people don't really have agendas and simply rate or don't rate players. People that use the agenda word often (like yourself) are usually ones that can't articulate there point very well, notice there argument makes little to no sense...then resort to informing people that there opinion is "pure bull****" when they get angry:lol:

We created before the red? really? please elaborate...

Fair enough.

Ummm is saying someone is "chatting pure bull****" personal?

that when he has time and has to think, he usually scores. mostly penalties or a goal like the one against Villa. goal against Anzhi last year. even the cardiff goal where he took a touch and finished well. id say the cardiff one was a little more instinctive then cool and calm.

I have an agenda with Capoue? I was one backing him up earlier in the season, mostly on my own. His performances have decreased levels and ive given him deserved stick. We looked better in midfield without him today although not so much. Agenda against Adebayor? I just dont rate him, much like most of his previous managers because he could be so much better his career if he just wanted too.

we created chances before the red. go watch the game again instead of looking at things through out the game to single out players for making mistakes or being out of position like you had some sort of past experience, its not your job.

My point was that both players threads have been hot topics on the board when neither player was anywhere near the team - much like the Adebayor thread.
you're missing the point i think.
\The Ade thread was immediately bumped after the game and he wasn't playing. That was my point but again its no biggie.

Seeing either playing wasting oxygen and passes up top makes me sad, I would rather play 451 or 460 or 820 than play Soldado and Adebayor.

We have 17 tricksters, perhaps 460 would result in width and an upturn in our dire performances.

you sound angry and childish now tbh. I'm aware it's "not my job" but you know we're on a spurs forum where we discuss these things right? i mean it's"not your job" to critique adebayors performance...do you not see ho pathetic that sounds:lol:

I asked you to elaborate on the chances we created before the red...you couldn't because you know full well we didn't create much at all...so you resort to telling me to "watch the game again". Your line of argument is very weird.

its not my job, but i can give an opinion on his performance. you seem to watch a game to see the negatives, every single week. 5 minutes into the game, Capoue, who is human and is likely to make mistakes, is 35cms out of position and gets shat on. You gave him credit against Arsenal and Southampton because we didnt lose either game. When i said its not your job, I meant analyzing everything. Youre a fan sitting at home watching football on a stream. Let the manager/coach worry about that ****.

I don't have to elaborate. I watched the game, we created chances. If you don't remember them (most like because we were losing, so over analyzing everyones performances and criticizing every movement) then thats not my problem or "my job" to remind you.

Missed yet another sitter today. When's this long-awaited avalanche going to start?

How many PL starts has he had this season? Pretty obvious his confidence in front of goal is low, but if he gets a run of games it might return - it might not but Im happy to see him given a chance.

Once thing I know for sure is that our attacking play is a lot more intelligent when him and Kane are playing, Id still have him ahead of Ade as things stand...

If you see a post that you think breaks the site rules please report it and don't take matters into your own hands.

No Milo i won't do that. You stated on this thread (and not via pm) that i should quit being personal which is a fair enough request. i simply want to know that if someone says you're "chatting pure bull****" is personal but you don't seem to want to answer so it's ok:eek:k:

I never saw him play before we signed him but knew his name. I hope we did not just sign a guy because he scored a lot of goals in a european top flight league, which is what I suspect.

We really need new strikers, I have been underwhelmed by our strikers since Berbatov left really. Not sure who they should be that chap in Belgium the Serbian sounds good but the scouts and Poch need to decide. I just hope one of the new strikers is Bony or Benteke someone who has proven it in this league. That does not always prove good as Torres with Chelsea can show. But I want someone who has at least done it in this league, do not care of nationality.
