****OMT- TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR VS Panathinaikos**********

Sorry but i hate waiting for a OMT to be started after a win..

--------------------------------Friedel------------------------------

Naughton------------Gallas-----------Caulker-------------Walker

Lennon-----------Huddlestone--------Carroll-------------Dempsey

------------------------------Sigurddson----------------------------

------------------------------Adebayor-------------------------------

Subs: Cudicini, Vertonghen, Dembele, Townsend, Livermore, Falque, Defoe

I'd let Lloris and Sandro sit this one out alltogether as they'll probably start against Everton and Defoe said in his post match interview that Sandro was nursing a calf injury. Walker at LB because i like what i saw with Naughton and Lennon's link up play today and also Walker was the one playing LB when when they were at Sheffield United for the last few games of the season iirc. I would bench Demeble, Vert, and Defoe for this one to get them ready for sunday and i also think the link up play between Sig and Ade will be enough to win this one. Dempsey at LM floating inside should also work well.

I think AVB will give our squad players the opportunity to start, with some of our more experienced players on the bench, just in case things don't go to plan.

It's vital for Spurs to progress to the Group Stage in 2013 and I really think we could be in with a great shout of winning the competition, providing that the right amount of attention is given to it.

Would love to finish top of the group, but obviously avoiding defeat and progressing is the main aim

.................Friedel.....................
Walker...Gallas....Caullker..Naughton
Lennon..Huddlestone..Carroll..Falque
..........Adebayor...Defoe...............

Subs. Cudicini,Vertonghen,Dembele,Sigurdsson,Dempsey,Townsend,Mason

3-1 (Adebayor,Walker,Defoe)

We have to assume that Dawson is at least doubtful for Everton, that would mean a back 4 of Vertonghen, Caulker, Ekotto and Naughton/Walker for that one. For me that means that Gallas needs to be rested for this game with his injury problems and with him having played quite a lot of games recently.

Dembele has just returned from injury, would like to see him given a rest, we need him against Everton. Some talk of Sandro feeling a slight injury, he's played just about every game and deserves a bit of a breather.

Defoe too has been playing a lot, if we can rest him I think we should.

Friedel to start to keep him match fit. Rest Dempsey and give Sig a game from the start.

I agree with this team... Though I am tempted with Defoe for Falque and two up top

sorry to be a wet blanket ... with winter coming round and our penchant for injuries, i'll be happy to start with a bunch of second stringers and sing "que sera sera". We need to keep whatever is intact until BAE, Bale, Dawson and Parker fit and ready.

Agree with metal gear. Rest Bale, Lennon, Defoe and play Townsend, falque or Dempsey and Ade.

Friedel
Naughton
Huddlestone
Caulker
Gallas
Livermore
Carroll
Sig
Dempsey
Ade
Townsend

There's plenty of players needing games who should be able to beat Panathinaikos at home, agree with most that players like Townsend Falque Ade Sig Carroll Livermore should be on the pitch.

---------------Friedel---------------
Walker-Caulker-Livermore-Naughton
-----------Hudd-Carroll-------------
Falque--------Sig--------------Townsend
---------------Ade-------------------

Carlo, Verts, Gallas, Dembele, Lennon, Dempsey, Defoe,

I think we should have a youngster competent enough to cover for one of the Kyle's as well but I'm not too sure. Ade and Sig should be able to combine and Hudd and Carroll would be able to supply them well. Livermore has the attributes to do well at CB, and I do think if we don't make some changes the players that have been in the team consistently ie Vertonghen Gallas Lennon Defoe will burn out. I guess we don't know if Caulker if fit and healthy again yet though

The players in that team should all be very very eager to impress and we'd have a very strong bench if things aren't going so well.

We can't afford to lose this, so no chances taken IMO
Lloris
Naughton
Caulker
Gallas
JV
Sig
Dempsey
Ade
Hudd/Carroll
Defoe
Lennon

I'm assuming Sandro is carrying an injury, and resting him might be a good idea anyway

if we get two or three up, then bring in the likes of Friedel Townsend Falque Walker whoever

Play this team. Honestly, Europa should never have been main priority considering even if we win it does not mean automatic qualification for CL. And im getting tired of watching Andre play our strongest 11 on thursday then wondering why the team has a hard time giving their best performance on sunday.

Group J
NK Maribor (4pts) v S.S. Lazio (9), Tottenham Hotspur FC (7) v Panathinaikos FC (5)

• Lazio are through and will top the group with a victory or if Tottenham fail to win. If Lazio and Tottenham finish level on points, first place will be decided on overall goal difference, overall goals scored then coefficient.

• Tottenham will be through with a draw or win.

• Panathinaikos will be through with a win.

• Maribor are out.

WTF.

You have 4 stars to start & 10 stars at the end - Not balanced at all ( I am using the word stars as Crawley used the ese words in the last OMT , instead of asterisks )
Also:
When is the game - date and time
Where
THESE are OMT rules. Check them

Otherwise, I agree with the team. Although I would shift Dempsy & Siggy around

COYS
