Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

Four and a half years later I think he can claim to have delivered on this:

“I am not the guy who is going to go out and shout ‘we are going to conquer the world!’ or something like this,” he began, jabbing his finger into the table in front of him. “We will conquer the ball, yeah? Each fudging time. We will chase the ball. We will run more, fight more. We will work more together, better together. We will have better organisation in defence than the other teams. We have to find our own way to play.”

No guarantee Liverpool would be crowned Premier League champions if season curtailed by coronavirus

There is no guarantee Liverpool would be crowned Premier League champions if the season was curtailed by the coronavirus, Telegraph Sport can reveal.

There is also no guarantee the bottom three clubs would not be relegated, with no specific regulation in place governing such a scenario.

The rapid spread of the virus has raised the prospect of the Government ordering the cancellation of all sporting events in the UK for more than two months, something that could mean some fixtures never being played.

Were the Premier League season not completed, it is likely crisis talks would take place to determine whether previous results would be allowed to stand or whether the entire campaign was rendered null and void.

Any final ruling could depend on how many fixtures had been played, similar to the results of abandoned matches in some sporting competitions being allowed to stand if a certain percentage of them have been completed.

Someone needs to post this on RAWK.

Well at least we've not had a midweek game for a change, so they should tire before us.

maybe, although our lot clearly spent the summer eating deep fried mars bars and lazily arranging lemons around the training ground rather than doing any conditioning work, most of them look fudged before the kick off

But players are all fudged from poch training methods.

Yeah it can, they didn’t build up to a high enough level of base fitness, and he didn’t notice.

So his training methods were so hard some players left because it was too much for them, others complained it was to hard, supporters claimed our end of season drop off was because of it, but they are also so lax our players are unfit.
OK, that makes sense.

No such thing as too hard, only athletes that haven’t prepared properly, Poch’s mistake wasn’t his requirements, it’s that he didn’t get them there.

It's primary school football at pace. They've recruited consistently players who can carry the ball at speed and composure. Passing with pace of the ball. The step up in speed and pace is definitely part of their training, attacking with speed and numbers.

He is, and i've been saying it for years! It's hoofball, but hoofball with accuracy. But it's hoofball nontheless!
