The positives

could have gone either way
the longer we waited the more I thought red!
It really should only go one way
The way it went
Their killing it with reviews and slow mo
Then they make it worse by changing their mind
Everything should be reviewed at real speed other than offside

I hope you are correct - Jose looks like he did at the end of his United reign!
didn't even shake hands with Frank!
Jose the child is back

I'm okay with that. That's what he's always been and anyone who was fooled by the charm offensive should have a word with themselves.

It's the performances I'm having difficulty with.

But he has had 15 league games and 2 1/2 weeks off to start the process of changing the team

One step closer to the end of the season where we can further continue the much needed rebuild
I don’t think we need a complete rebuild. We need a new centre half to replace Alderweireld and a defensive shield in the midfield, which might be provided by Gedson once he has had a full pre season. We need cover at Right back unless that is going to be Juan Foyth, for me Aurier has been fine although he is still unpredictable. Cover for Kane would be ideal but not sure how you bring in someone who will be mostly an understudy. It might have to be an exciting youngster or an old experienced llorente type player. Poch tried both options with Janssen and Llorente.

But as you have pointed out before Bill, these were positions highlighted during Poch’s time but many on here were saying it was down to the manager not motivating them. The latest narrative is that Poch left us a terrible squad. He didn’t he left us a squad that lacked strength in key positions and with players he had tried to shift but couldn’t. I think the squad is already in a better position than the one he left, thanks to Lo Celso settling in and the the January signings and outgoings.

I had the misfortune of having to watch this game on DAZN. Colour commentary was provided by Andy Townsend, his second week in a row doing so at a Spurs match. Of course he wasn't biased. He only played the bulk of his very average career with Villa and Chelsea.

And what a cnut he was on both occasions.

Today, he moaned and belaboured the LoCelso incident long after it was ruled upon. We must have seen a dozen replays of the incident, backward-forward-slomo-real time, and all this vindictive taco could say, many times over, was "I can't believe this isn't a red card."

Well, you miserable pishnewt, rescued from the Paul Merson Universe by a pityfcuk job in punditry, better men than you watched this and said no. Deal with it and move on.

If that wasn't bad enough, the studio analysis came from the thin, bitter lips of tactics timmy, still clearly bitter about his sacking from Spurs.

On balance I think GLC should have been sent off. I'd certainly have called for it if it was against us.

But...it tinkles me off that a few pundits have called it as a definite red. It wasn't. You can even see debate amongst fellas who have been involved in the game at the highest level like Hoddle and the ex ref they had in studio on BT. tinkles me off that some people seem to think that their opinion is 100% right. There was an argument for sending him off which I'd agree with. But there is also a counter argument and there is some validity in that too particularly when you watch the incident at the speed it actually happened. Slow-mo always makes stuff look worse.

That I don’t have to bother with Match of the day so I can get an early night and get up to watch the boxing live

A positive that seems to be forgotten is our remaining fixture list.
We’ve played away at all other genuine top 5( Mancs, Liverpool, chelski and arse). I don’t think any of the other top 4 çontenders have this advantage.
Also, only got Man U and Arse to play at the lane.

Wolves will be tough and then sometimes the relegation fodder are tough at the end of the season when they are fighting to stay up.

Well I’m looking forward to hearing your negatives.

We've got a whole week before our next game to work out how to have an effective attack without Kane and Son.

On this form we're probably going out of the CL, which means our home game against Scum won't be rescheduled, which means I'll be present at the first NLD at the new ground. :p

Good thing about the Wolves game next Sunday is that we'll have had the week off whereas they're playing in Spain on Thursday night

Separately, Sheff Utd's run-in looks quite friendly to me
