Think we've been ok. Obviously dominated for 25 or 30 mins and I wonder if they can keep up this pace.

Sanchez and Fernandes the pick of the bunch for me. Lo Celso good at times. Bergwijn has been decent. We are still well in this.

Watching This is certainly getting the heart working! They look dangerous every time they have the ball, which is most of the time. Will be a miracle if we don't concede. It already is.

This is much like our Ajax tie last season. Young upstarts who are clearly well trained, have quality and loads of energy.

We have to do exactly what we did to Ajax...get them not believing so much, dark arts and take the chances when they come.

It won't be easy though.

Well, it could be worse, nice to see Poch’s old tactic of running around like headless chickens for the first 5 minutes to lull the opposition into thinking it will be easy and half heartedly finish from there on in.

Lo Celso has been the main threat, Winks is having a Grealish, he’s put the work in on his hair but keeps giving the ball away.

More effort needed all round and we need to keep working Werner and Sabotizc as they should both be off already, how did Werner get away with that chop block on Aurier?

This is a tough one for the defence. We either let them outnumber the midfield or risk letting Werner run in behind. There was one instance where Serge pushed up and they just passed it off eachother to send Werner away with neither Serge nor Gedson given a chance in hell of catching him.

I think we would be ok with a 0-0, given that we lost Son yesterday. I dare say that he was heavily involved in Mourinho's plans for tonight.

We aren't going to be the team on top tonight nor on the return. I think they are beatable, but we are going to need to work the ball quicker and more decisively through them when we have it.

Clearly second best out there, luckily not behind yet at least.

Really struggled to deal with the movement of the wide forwards in combination with the wing backs in particular. Our wide players and full backs look lost at times.

Also really not doing enough to close down passing lanes when they build from the back, Moura and Alli just not smart enough in their positioning, and they have to be in this system and style.

Some positive moments on the ball from saveral of our players. Some good individual defending, particularly from Sanchez. Got better overall after the first five minutes when we looked completely out of sorts.

Need to improve, perhaps a change of system too.

I'm not sure what these commentators were expecting. This is how we've been playing recently and how we will play til Kane is back

We should get Ndombele on to keep possession and add offensive creativity. Just the kind of player we miss out there (apart from a striker of course).

As I said, we need to hang on in there. This is just the first leg, even if we lose, make sure it is a small margin so we have something to aim for in the second leg.

When we are getting forward, there is numbers in the box, off the ball we need far more aggression.

We are in this as they will struggle to maintain the energy they showed.

The danger is his defensive ill discipline could cost us. He made a couple of mistakes v Bayern that resulted in goals and he doesn't bust a gut.

Not saying Jose shouldn't bring him on but it's risky.
