Agreed, it's a bit of a stretch to read that as a dig at Levy @Legohamster
Definitely not a dig and I completely agree with what he is saying, we are playing wide forwards out of position in every game with only Lamela to replace one of them. Even with Kane back it fixes our wing issue but still light on a focal point, that’s nothing different to what this board has been saying since we shipped out Llorente and Janssen
Cities big chances were from our own mistakes, first time in awhile I haven’t felt like a team is ripping through as at every opportunity, we do seem to be getting more resilient slowly, but that Lo Celso chap isn’t half bad :)

I think that our problems up top should lighten a little soon. Ndombele can play further forward, as can Gedson and Lo Celso.

Still think our game-management needs a lot of work, particularly in terms of keeping the ball. We kept gifting them possession, even in stoppage time at the end of the game. I'm still not sure how they didn't manage to take at least one of the opportunities we gave them.

Going to start with saying, we got away with one in this game. Even sitting back we still conceded gilt edge chances to them. They should have been 2-0 up at least at half time. The sending off hurt them, but we know their tactics. Play high up the pitch, if the opposition breaks try to get a foul on them in their own half. it cost them this time and they went down to 10 men. They must really hate playing us lately. 4 point we have got off them this season, and if you are honest. We could probably have been pummeled in both of them. But. its happened to us, and we have hit them and taken 2 chances and somehow kept a clean sheet.

Lloris. Played well. Great penalty save and his foot save to direct Aguero's shot onto the post. Amazing.
Aurier. Well. Played really well, some good tackling. Got forward at times. Then! he over plays the penatly. Its only just a pen, but the player is going away from goal on the edge of the box. Jose needs to just train him to not dive in at all in the box. Then I think I could see why he is persevering with him.
Toby. Pretty good. Some nice interceptions at times.
Tanganga. Thought he played amazing against anyone who came up against him. With City using left footers on the right side. Nobody got past him. He knows when to go in and when not. Brilliant football brain on him.
Sanchez. Some nice headers. Some decent tackles and then one or two errant passes. ill forgive him in this game as we was under constant pressure. But the pen came from his bad pass.
Winks. Played well, more forward with his passing to team mates and drew the foul that got the red card. He has upped his game lately.
Lo Celso. Nice covering of De Bruyne, some nice interplay. But this was a game of defending so not a lot of stand out moments.
Dele. Hardly in the game really. No silly flicks today. Tried to play clean and quickly. Again. A lot of tactical formation defending in this game. Did not play badly but we were on the back foot most of the time.
Moura. Looks lost up front. Lost out on the ball a lot. Made some bad choices. Just when I was bemoaning his lack of ability to pass or pick out a team mate he sets up Bergwign. Needs to play wide or not at all for me.
Son. Another one up front who made some bad choices. Could have held the ball up better for us. Then he switched to his normal left and looked more dangerous and got a goal from a lovely pass from N'Dombele.
Bergwijn. Did not have that much impact like most of our forwards for most of the game. But an amazing goal full of tekkers. He did show he has good upper body strength which will serve him well in the prem. Hard game for a debut but a great start to his career.

Subs.
Lamela. Did what he does. Came on. Great at holding up the ball. Good body motion to coast out of tough positions. He comes on and looks like he should start. Then he starts and we know why he is sub.
N'Dombele. Couple of nice runs with the ball. Showed some strength. Showed his weak side as well going down easy twice from contact. Lovely pass to Son. With him and Lo Celso in the team we could have some good
forward play once they all get going.
Dier. Not much time to do much. Came on and filled up some pace.

@milo Tangango, Lloris for MOTM
