Christian Eriksen

Present form is poor, class is permanent. Do you really think he would not improve them?
Erisken is a wind only to De Bruyne in the creative stakes
But he has showing this season his mentality is weak and it will put the top echelon of clubs off
At a weak united side he could stand out but I’d look at who he is okaying with and for as much as anything

I weak season in 6/7 is judging harshly ( imo), he is not playing well and i am not unaware of that. As i have said elsewhere lets wait and see where he ends up.

Well lets hope he never gets the chance to show if he can or not, if he goes i would hate to see him play for another club here.

At some point they will get a decent manager who will get a tune out of Eriksen, so let's hope he doesn't end up there.

Mate, I think he is a brilliant player but the way he is playing this season is a shocking fall from grace
He isn’t putting anything in on the pitch and for a WC player which I believe he is that’s woeful

I can't dance with that at all. I will be sad to see him go though and will always have fond memories of what he has done for us during his time here.

This is the one area you and I respectfully disagree on. I think that Mr Eriksen is talented but lacks bottle. He's never going to cut it at the very highest level and never has. He may improve Utds midfield but let's be honest it's a low bar these days.

Eriksen won't be playing as badly as he does now forever. I certainly don't want him improving a direct PL rival. Ship him abroad if possible.

I've got a hunch he's had enough of Britain as much as anything else, so I don't see why he'd be interested in Manchester; all his noise has been about Spain. Actually, wasn't it reported he'd already rebuffed them, or did I imagine that?

I think he would be coming into a struggling team and expected to elevate them. I dont think he has quite that mentality,to be honest.

Drop him into a decent team, and let him do his job - Im sure he would impress.

Put him in and ask him to make the difference? Not sure thats him at all.

I'll be sorry to see him go, he's been a fantastic player for us, but I'm resigned to the fact that he's not going to perform for us at previous levels. I think he's missing Dembele's presence on the pitch more than anyone. Dembele was a player magnet which gave him the space he needed. That coupled with his drop off in motivation has made him and consequentially Spurs less effective IMO.

Part-swap deal with Dybala works for me.

I think Eriksen's fall in performances is completely explained by him knowing he won't be at the club next year. I don't think any player really ever goes out with an explicit aim to not try their best but it is difficult to give absolutely everything when you know you are leaving. If I look back on my career I can't honestly say that I have given my absolute everything when close to agreeing/having agreed a position at a new company. I have never gone out with the intention of putting a bit less effort in when in those periods but the motivation just isn't there to really go the extra mile.

I think that in football even that tiny 1% makes a huge difference. I'm sure that Eriksen will be at his best again when he joins a new club. We should never be in a position where players in their peak who are desirable for other clubs go into the last year of their contracts. The fact that we have gone into this season with 3 of those borders on negligence from our Chairman IMO.
