Son Heung-Min

If we're talking about the same ball I would vehemently disagree but there might have been another one I can't currently recall.. Whipped in with venom, Kane was moving in towards it for the header.
Ah yes that one. I forgot about that. I think the one I was thinking of might’ve been delivered by Dele?

Anyone blaming him for the miss saying we'd have won it if we'd have gone two up needs to wind their neck in
Yep, hitting the bar with the goal gaping, will really hurt Son. He knows he can make that shot a lot of times out of ten, plus he hit the bar in the first half and would have been thinking to himself "don't do that again", but he put in a huge shift and played well. If that shot had flown in, he might be in the discussion for ballon d'or, but now he feels like he's at rock bottom

Surely the whole point of VAR is terrible decisions like this

Was it even looked at by VAR? Seemed like Atkinson thought Son was a bit reckless, so gave him a yellow, then changed his mind once he realised the player was injured. Probably assumed it was a stamp or something.

Just when you think you've seen it all, a blunder decision like this pops up and the system installed to prevent refereeing errors does its best impression of a deaf and dumb pig with no limbs.

He was reckless. Rather than blaming the ref, who admittedly got it wrong, we should be asking why Son threw in a stupid revenge tackle like that. He cost us 3 points at Bournemouth last year and 2 at Everton this year by being indisciplined. I get he's popular but if Eriksen or Aurier did what Son did today, they'd be pilloried.

It was not a revenge tackle, less than 5 secs before he had tackled someone else.

aurier did the damage today
And if eriksen actually tackled it would be a miracle

Aurier is really just in the way though. There was intent from Sonny.

Agreed on Eriksen. There was one 50:50 ball second half where he just eased off running to avoid going in. It was shocking. He's always been a bit of a fanny but when he's not doing what he's good at, it becomes much more irritating.
