Harry Kane MBE

At least we don’t have to worry if he gets injured anymore, he should only be 5th choice at best in his position, Alli, Lamela, Ndombele are all better AM than him and even Eriksen should be picked ahead of him.

I think in our current situation, there's basically no way Poch can drop him, but with him playing in that deeper #10-ish role, part of me would love to see how Lamela and Alli would do behind a mobile, speedy front two of Lucas and Son. As creative of a striker Kane is, I do love the idea of a more natural #10 playing behind our speedy attackers, a bit like the second leg of the Ajax match.

Maybe against Red Star would be a good place to try?

Something like...

--------Gazzaniga------
Foyth--DVS--JVT---Davies
----------Winks-----------
--Ndombele--Dele
---------Lamela------
---Son---------Lucas

We are paying for that thought process of not getting a second striker to challenge or capable of benching him.

We have got two strikers, first choice is called Son, second is called Moura, Parrott is the third choice, Harry Kane is the 5th best AM at the club.

Another game yesterday when he looked way off the pace, on a couple of occasions we put good crosses into the box and in past seasons he would have bust a gut to get in front of his marker but was making no run to do that, most of the balls played in he was always behind his marker.

Not sure why that is happening but he looks nothing like the player he was in previous seasons, maybe he is carrying yet another injury?, no idea but he is struggling to find the space he was always good at finding.

-Never was a natural athlete
-Years of non stop football, 90 mins regardless of score and competition
-Rushed back/starts immediately on return from injury when completely not necessary
-Age

This is the result. Looks like a player that can no longer lead the line by himself, undroppable for club and country so both have tried to find formations to take the burden off him physically, England with more success.

Again this is not recent, some of us pointed this out a season ago and were laughed at. But it's plain to see that physically he's shot, reduced to playing midfield or trying to flick the ball on to Moura.

Quite frankly it's disgusting mismanagement by Poch. He's just ran him into the ground when there was no need to.

I asked the question before, take away penalties and how many goals is Kane going to score this season?

I don’t need to tell u the difference between Prem and Bulgaria I’m sure.

Also - the deep role works for England as Sterling and Rashford/Sancho burst beyond. Doesn’t really happen to the same tune for us.

comparatively the same compared to Kane

it should seeing as we have better players around him than England do
