Not heard his post match comments yet, but just saw this from Alastair Gold :
"Poch: “The performance wasn’t great, but when you concede an early goal it is always tough, it is a difficult situation. The atmosphere wasn’t in the way you love to play, it wasn’t the best. I understand why though."

To be honest, the atmosphere was nowhere near as bad as it could have been, considering what was playing out in front of us.
Really not a helpful comment.

Especially when fans are paying the highest prices in the league to watch that s.h.i.t.

That’s literally no punishment in my book. GK walks off with a yellow and prevents oppo getting anything going. Managers dream.

My method is to avoid the time wasting in the first place.

Sorry, forgot to state that repeated offence after the first yellow results is another yellow as it's the same offence. Basically means after 4 times you're off.

Irrelevant though, as it will never happen

As you say it will never be implemented

I really want to believe Poch can turn it round, but it's getting harder to have faith in what he's doing, or to even understand what he's doing.

This is the issue for me.

I think fans will accept a rocky ride when they understand what's happening. When Poch was transforming us on his arrival we all got it, and supported him.

Now? He, and what he is doing, and saying, just doesn't make sense.

That's the biggest issue I have.

Didn't watch the game but reading the board and the line ups etc, it just sounds like desperation at this point

That's deliberate as they know we are toothless in attack, and have the slowest defence playing a high line.
They weren't doing ANYTHING,just relying on counters and space behind us as we tried to play high, which is dangerous if we aren't pressing well or attacking with fluidity- but they defended well, we certainly lack creativity and only showed any real passion after the equaliser I'd say. So you didn't see the chances we had then ?

The more the game went on the better we looked. For Poch and the result, it was vital we kept things tight at the back early on. Losing that goal was a big blow, but we fought back. Thought we might win it at the end. Last season we only just beat them 2-1 in the dying seconds at Wembley. Their new manager had them motivated and organised, and we look what we are - an out of confidence team trying to settle into a formation.

Not sure what Poch does with our midfield but I think it is crucial. Sissoko and Winks are both very good, yet not good enough? Ndombele came on when watford were tiring but seems to have more attacking guile. And seeing Doucoure you wonder if we should have signed him in the summer - no settling in period - and a talented player we couldn't deal with.

On the upside Aurier didn't fudge up!

The problem with the criticism of the squad is the quality of the opposition

- Sissoko, Winks may not be good enough for Pool, City type games, but Watford, Brighton and Colchester? not sure I agree.

This squad should fudging sleepwalk half the games in the PL, with no management guidance needed ...

Maybe you're looking at the opposition sterotype and not the game? Forget Watford were winless, they had a new manager, were organised, determined and in Daoucoure you have a player that is good enough to play for CL clubs (and we couldn't defend his run and goal). There aren't many easy games in the PL, this wasn't one, and our team needs to be ready to perform at an elite level when teams like watford try and undermine us. At the moment we can't take control, they impose on us. How much has that got to do with the midfield?

After watching yesterday and seeing another change in formation I don’t think even Poch knows how to get the side out of this slump. It’ll take something the players do rather than the manager that kick starts this season and that to me shows Poch has run out of ideas.

This is another poor performance and result ! We badly needed a win but we were fortunate to even get the draw ! It seems like we have forgotten how to score and win ! Pochettino has to be worried for this future as Spurs manager as the players don't seem to respond to his instructions. He has chopped and changed his team as he wish but nothing seem to be working for us now. The fact we were playing at home but only had 2 shots on target against the bottom team shows how poor we were. All the players were poor and couldn't lift their game. Fortunately for us, we scored a lucky goal to get this draw.

Credit to Alli for scoring our only goal but he was poor apart from that, just like others. We needed inspiration from Kane but he had another poor match. Pochettino has dropped and changed all the attacking players except for Kane. I think it is time Kane gets dropped to see if our attack improves without him. Others like Son and Moura were poor as wel. We really should have started with Lamela but even he couldn't lift us after coming on in the second half.

Our midfield had another poor match. We badly lacked creativity in midfield to help our attack. Sissoko and Winks were unable to control the midfield. Winks made too many mistakes. Sissoko worked hard but lacked the finishing touch as usual. It is getting annoying to see Sissoko trying those long range shots when he cannot hit the target. Not sure why we paid huge money for Ndombele if we cannot start him. Ndombele didn't have any impact after coming on in the second half as well.

Our defence conceded another soft goal. In fact we were fortunate not to concede 2 or 3 more goals. We once had one of the best defence in the league. Not sure how that defence have become so poor like this. It seems like Vertonghen and Alderweireld cannot seem to be at their best anymore. It didn't help that we had error-prone Sanchez starting in defence again. Our defence went missing for their goal. Felt Gazzaniga should have reacted faster for the goal as well.

We have now only won 1 of our last 7 matches and have only won 3 matches all season. Not sure if losing in the CL final last season is impacting the morale of the whole team now. But we seem to have forgotten how to win matches home or away. Injuries to our 3 new players, Ndombele, Lo Celso and Sessegnon have not helped us either. Pochettino better do something to get back our winning formula immediately if he wants to remain as the Spurs manager and help us finish in top 4 again this season.

Agree with most except that we did get better after subs were made.
Our subs should start our next game, kane benched.

We did get better but our attack were still toothless. We didn't look like scoring whole match as we only had 2 shots on target. We had 11 corners but their goalie didn't even make any real save ! Even the goal by Alli was their goalie mistake. We were playing bottom team Watford, not Emirates Marketing Project ! Just imagine when we play Liverpool !

Mate, you have your opinion, so I'm going to leave it as this

- This squad with Harry advice, i.e. "go run round a bit" would win these games.
- Whatever Poch is doing is making it worse ..

No more to say, if you still believe It makes sense that Son, Harry, Lamela, Lucas (all players who's effort can never ve questioned) struggle against low level opposition because of their "lack of talent" or some conspiracy theory that if you don't but x number of players every transfer window the squad will go through a cinderella transformation back into a pumpkin .. then ok .. lets leave it at that.

This is a Watford side who were hockeyed 8-0 by City with their new manager. Scraping a draw against them at home is an awful result. On the back of losses to Saudi Sportswashing Machine and Brighton, it's bloody unforgivable.

So does that not point to a problem with the players and not the manager?

No. A couple of players underperform consistently, that's on the players. The majority of the team do it and that's on the manager.

Really worried about the team- not sure how long Levy can stand this brick.

Tactics are a worry but what is of greater worry is that Poch is a one trick pony. Without his teams pressing what is his tactics?

The passing is so slow n ponderous because poch teams are not known for passing and the players movement with and without the ball is woeful.

I don’t think poch is that great a coach which is why he’ll never make it at a Real Madrid or manure. What he is good at is people skills fir those he deems as his favourites, but he works best with a young n impressionable group of players. Our squad is resistant to his style because they are older n wiser n not as fit.

He’ll keep on going but right now there is no light at the end of the tunnel just a manager and a team looking bereft of ideas n confidence. Poch has had a good run but this current squad will be the end of him. Forget top 4 we’ll struggle to get to top 6.

this was an easy game for them as we were lazy and slow and just mentally and physically weak

docoure was class again and really should be at a top club by now

what I love is the use the infamous cross it in the box to anyone of their 3 CBS to head... I assume to us
