Oliver Skipp

He hasn't looked out of place, but you could argue that, amongst the mediocrity we've been dishing up for the last eight months or so, that's not really saying a lot.

The answer is somewhere in the middle, he hasn’t done anything outstanding that makes you scream to have him in the team in a fully fit and on form squad, and he has also not done anything wrong that makes you not want him anywhere near the team, long term he probably looks like a mid to lower end premier league top end championship player.

I've gotta say, the loss has really blinkered some of you. Skipp only turned 19 a week ago, yet some in here seem to think that he should be the finished article. We've got to give young players time and patience in order to reap the rewards.

From what i have seen of him he looks a very promising player, just turned 19 so we should not rush him to much but i hope we see him on the bench for some games with the odd run out.

He needs a better role model than sideways winks. Hopefully lo celso and dombele can show him something about more vertical passages of play, and the courage to initiate them

A decent loan is what he needs. Let's see if he is good enough to play men's football at Championship level. If he is, then great, he can be trusted for a role in and around our first team.

personally think that when your options are Sissoko, Wanyama, Dier or Skip then it shouldn't be Skip that's being sent out on loan
