I cursed him out of it for that but on the second replay they showed, I’m not sure it was an easy pass as there were two defenders between him and Kane and the one coming back would have intercepted the pass I think.

Looking at the replays it's hard to say he should have seen Kane - Kane himself most definitely would have been shooting in that position

Maybe
But it’s the higher percentage option

It’s chalk and cheese because it’s exactly that
Away game, very hot after a 4 hour flight in an intense atmosphere with a team that’s made 50% changes
My biggest worry is our defending. We have not replaced the tigerish tackling of Wanyama, Dembele and Dier. I watched Ndombele today, and while it is early days I don't think he is that sort of player. I feel that we need a "fabinho" type defensive midfielder.

We have sissoko who does that
We need smarter players but it’s gonna take time to get that on place

A point away from home in the CL ain't too bad, although we should've held on, obviously. The eternal complaints of a football fan, innit, we should've done this and should've done that. We drew 2-2. That's OK. Not a terrible match, but not great either. No need to despair. Winks was great. We move on. Leicester next.

Sissoko is not that player though. He isn't as tigerish as either Dembele or Wanyama. We are missing a natural ball winner in midfield.

Don’t remember Dembele winning much ball
His strength was keeping it and driving with it
And I think Wanyama did win loads of ball but lasted one season playing at our pace

Dembele was incredible at winning the ball and keeping it. Wanyama had injury problems before spurs, so it's not a surprise how it's gone for him. But there are plenty of ball winners who do fine at other teams, Fernandinho, Fabinho, Kante. The two top Teams that are missing them are us and Arsenal imho and we are as soft as brick in the middle.
