Moussa Sissoko

I made a simple composite image with roughly a variation of about 1.5 seconds between each, just to highlight the movement (or lack thereof).
Sissoko should pick up a man and track him better I agree, but my question is: why is KdB getting so much space right outside the box? Sanchez could be in his position to cut out any low crosses from B. Silva. Rose is marking Silva. Winks OR Eriksen can double-up on Silva if Rose needs the help but they both left KdB free. So while it suits anyone that doesn't like Sissoko to blame him for this goal, I have already stated (why do I have to keep repeating myself?) that the criticism in the Eriksen/Winks threads pales in comparison to what happens in this one. The suggestion that there isn't an agenda here is laughable at best, despite my repeated affirmations that Sissoko could be doing better just like everyone else in the team.

All would be equal between the 3 in terms of criticism in their threads if Winks and Eriksen where defended as vehemently as Sissoko is on here.

It's because people say stupid things in here (relative to the baseline).

But they don’t, some of the comments in the KWP, Erksens and Winks threads are just as dumb but people let it slide, something that posters in here just cannot do.

Eriksen, obviously.

Eriksen was doing what he's supposed to - doubling up on the winger. Sissoko was just standing around trying to scratch his arse and ending up.picking his nose.

Fair play mate. I actually thought you'd give that answer even though i know you can't stand Sissoko :thumbsUp

Sissoko is garbage and he should be working as a cashier in a supermarket instead of being a professional footballer. Is that better?

This is a Trump-esque comment, if there ever was one; an attempt at "alternative facts".

You lot always say that the Sissoko fan boys are out in force whenever he is criticised. That is complete garbage. Most of us have no particular affection for the player and I would have no problem with him being replaced by any player, as long as he is more effective. The only reason we respond to your type of posts is because, more often than not, they are bare-faced double standards and spacegoating at its worst.

Let's start with the thread name... why is Winks not (the new Xavi) or Lamela (the new Maradona) or Moura (the new Ronaldinho)?

You said that KWP, Eriksen and Winks have had some dumb comments on their performance after the City game in their threads. Feel free to point them out, because I cannot see them... Indeed I made a request to to @nayimfromthehalfwayline and would equally be happy to see your reply.

Please feel refer me to the relevant posts in their threads, especially where you, @scaramanga et al criticise either of them for their obvious, and more critical, contribution to either of Emirates Marketing Project's goals.

Do feel free to point out where their posts contain more than five pages of posts dissecting their fudge-ups in both goals, that were infinitely more consequential than Sissoko's.

“You lot” nice and friendly, you’ll be calling me mate next.

On Tapatalk at the moment but if I find myself with fudge all else to do and I’m near me PC then I might indulge you, I’m sure I’ve seen a few in the KWP thread.....

It's not that I can't stand him - he seems ok as a person. I just don't think he's much of a footballer.

Actually you made up your mind that he's not "much of a footballer" before he even kicked a ball in our colours and then steadfastly refused to acknowledge anything to the contrary, even going as far as saying that our manager was incompetent, because his view of the player appears to be diametrically opposed to yours.

Why can't you accept he had a different opinion on the player then you do? You rate him, Scaramanga doesn't. You're not going to change his mind and likewise he won't yours. Just accept that difference and move on.

No problem with differences of opinion... it's the spacegoating that bothers me; as it did with Armstrong, with Jenas, with Parker and with Sissoko. Spoke out then and will do so again. Otherwise what sort of "supporter" of the team would I be?

A fan of the club not rating a player is not neccesairly 'spacegoating' and there is nothing that says you must defend all Tottenham players come hell or high water. You support the club, not Sissoko FC.

I mean there must have been some players in your time that you didn't rate, or are you saying you've thought every player excellent? [emoji848]

You're right; it isn't. I don't particularly rate Lamela; neither Winks or Sanchez to be honest. However I was not slating them before they had even kicked a ball; far less am I on some zealot mission to identify any small mistake they may make in a game and slate them for outcomes for which other players are as if not more responsible.

I actually would love to be convinced that this is not spacegoating:

Not holding my breath...

Of course I'd made up my mind before he played for us - I'd seen him play for Saudi Sportswashing Machine.

The moment he starts showing he's a footballer I'll change my mind on him
