Kieran Trippier

According to Trippier there was unrest at Spurs and he had to move due to things happening behind the scene.

Trippier doesn't say that there was unrest, that is Sky's headline. He says that things happened behind the scenes and it was time for him to move on. That could just mean that Poch told him that he was no longer in his plans.

Beat me to it.

He looked like he knew the writing was on the wall for him at the end of the CL Final.

I think there were a lot of articles last year about how a lot of players were not happy with their contract situations etc but were getting on with it for the Champions League.

Eugh, not a chance I could find them. I think a lot might be the wrong amount, more like a few.

@milo From what I recall they were around the situation of players happiness in the club and how the turmoil of changing stadiums and players on short contracts had affected the club. I think it was Poch himself who said something about that in spite of all the various issues the players had after last summer's transfer window shut (Toby and Eriksen contracts, no-one coming new coming in and a few not leaving) they all decided do be professional and get on with it.
