Champions League Final plans for us stay at home fans.

My wife offered to have CL party , but in our group of friends non of them like football. So the idea of trying to watch this game whilst explaining the rules was a bit to much. So it will be on my own looking through the window so I can smoke.

I couldn't agree more. Football is such a personal thing, only people who fully 'get it' need to be anywhere near me. Anyone else just f.cks me off.

Since all the pubs, bars and other dives were fully booked by Liverpool fans before our semi final had even been played, we've got a conference room at a hotel booked for the local Yids to gather at. With a capacity just over 100, it will be packed judging by the facebook event.

Seeing pics from mates in Madrid hanging out with Erik the viking, kinda wishing I was there now, but we'll have a great time tomorrow anyway. Win or lose, we always have the best parties afterwards.

Capacity has now been increased to 118 seats + standing room available. I was looking forward to just going down to my regular, having a few brews and watching the game, but since they charge £40 for a seat, a plate of fish and chips and a beer included, we had to look elsewhere. And I ended up on the organizing committee. Again.

Just walked down to town centre to get some last min things, young lad about 10 with full spurs kit, 10 Kane on his back, across the street. Started waving at him and he was giving me funny looks, shouted COYS at him and his face lit up and he started running around.
Loving it today.

For starters...Work. With, in the background, athletics, cycling, racing at Epsom, possibly cricket and rugby.

And then, for the main course... CL final with my Spurs supporting son.. location - on and behind (depending on state of game) sofa, with adequate supplies of comfort foods. While fielding intermittent phone calls from my Spurs supporting father - usually at the most inopportune moments.

And for pudding.... boxing.

Here's to a great day for every one of us long suffering GG members.

BBQ and beers with family before the match. For the match, I'll be rocking back and forth in my wardrobe.
Pretty much the same here.

Mine all just did a runner (those that don't live here) so as not to be dragged through watching me watch football.

First Spurs match with our 1 week old around, so I've got to work out how to watch the biggest match of my life without shouting. No1 is sat here watching in his Kane shirt though and probably going to shout even louder.

I'm just blabbering now to avoid thinking about the match.

Most of family in garden bbq’ing, the boy is in full green and blue kit, eldest is on “punk duty”, I’m in the lounge not sitting in the same place as previous remembered defeats, hence, the most uncomfortable one.
