Bet no one on here would have a problem with buying a half and half arsenal or Chelsea scarf though. You know, our real rivals

Mate.
The half and half scarf is a disgrace.
Not even debatable.
Perhaps for small children it “might” work, but I would question any parent/supporter who bought one for their child.
A half and half scarf involving Arsenal or Chelski is screaming for either a citizen’s arrest or CPS, depending on the purchaser and intended recipient.

While discussing the final at work, a gooner said we didn't deserve to be in the final.
I replied that it was quite funny coming from a guy who supports a team that conceded 5 goals home and away in the first knockout round, two years in a row, the last time they were even in the tournament.
Compare that to us, who in the QF and SF combined, let in 1 goal at home and scored 6 away. How is that not deserved to go through?
He walked away...

Just look at them and smile. With sympathy and a strong combo shot of benevolence and patronisation. No words. Just that expression that says, “a mug of hot cocoa and a blanky will make it all better”...

Exactly seven days to go.

We better be at it from the first whistle ... we have recently had a knack of not turning up for the first 15 minutes of games and by that time they could get a head start.

Yeah, we're conceding in the first five minutes. I've accepted it.

We will blow them away in the second half, so no worries. :)

Getting really nervous about the CL Final. This match will be all about quality and experience of Liverpool against our hard work and luck. We rode our luck in the quarter final against Emirates Marketing Project and semi final against Ajax. Let's hope the Lady Luck will continue to help us in the Final.

The last time we played an English team in an European Final, we beat Wolves to win the 1972 UEFA Cup over 2 legs. But the last time we met Liverpool in Europe, we lost to them in the 1973 UEFA Cup semi final over 2 legs. Liverpool will be clear favourites and the pressure will be on them. But we should do all we can to avoid the penalties and win it in normal time. Liverpool have the best penalty shoot out record in world football while we have the worst ! But remember, the last time both us and Liverpool won an European trophy was on penalties.

One thing is for sure that it won't be an easy Final for us. In the last 50 years, all our Finals in all the competitions have been tense and tight matches. We had to come from behind to win the 2008 League Cup and 1991 FA Cup, won the 1999 League Cup with 10-men and an injury time goal, needed replays to win the 1981 and 1982 FA Cups and needed penalties to win the 1984 UEFA Cup.

Can never forget the way we won the 1991 FA Cup. We went into that Final as clear favourites against Nottingham Forest but almost throw it away. Our best player Gazza gave away a stupid freekick from which Forest scored, then Gazza went off injured, Lineker had a goal wrongly ruled offside and then missed a penalty but we still went on to win it somehow with an own goal !

So, get ready for a pull-your-hair-off and biting-your-nail-off match in the Final ! Wish we can get inspiration from our 1963 Cup Winners Cup Final in which we thrashed Atletico Madrid 5-1 !
