Lovely day for it, hoping for a game played at a friendly pace and either get an early goal ourselves or hear that Burnley have gone ahead to get the custard party started early. Would be nice to see some inflatables although we may be too refined for that sort of thing nowadays!

Also, would really like Pool to feel that they had it in their hands and fudged up, so want them to lose late after City go behind early. Which I realise is desperately unlikely.

I get that and if I knew the results would come I'm all for it but I want Liverpool to miss out and can't trust the footballing gods to play such fine lines. Happy for them to trail all game to be honest or City to blaze away.

After the way we progressed to the CL final we have to improve our domestic form. We have lost our last 2 league matches without scoring. We must win this match before we face Liverpool in the CL final. We do have excellent record against Everton, winning 7 and drawing 5 our last 12 matches against them. We have to make use of our good record to finish the season in winning form. After all, we have lost our last 2 home matches. We must make sure we get back our winning form at our last home match of the season.

We have failed to score in our last 2 league matches. Hope all our attacking players will find their goal scoring boot against Everton. Not sure if Kane will be fit to start this match. If he is not, then we have to rely on Son, Moura, Eriksen, Alli and Lamela for the goals. Son has not scored in 6 matches. Hope he will get back his goal scoring form. Moura did well to score the hattrick against Ajax. Hope he will continue his goal scoring form. We also need others like Eriksen, Alli and Lamela to help us get the goals as well. Maybe Llorente and Janssen can come on later in the match as needed.

Our midfield have had too many problems this season. Not sure who will be fit for this match. Wanyama seems to have picked up an injury against Ajax while Winks is still injured. If so, we have to start Dier and Sissoko in this match. Dier was fortunate not to get red carded against Bournemouth. Hope he will have an error-free match. Sissoko has been one of our best player this season. Hope he will have another good match against Everton.

Our defence have been inconsistent this season. We have conceded far too many soft goals this season. Hope our defence will do well and keep the clean sheet in this match. Hope Alderweireld and Vertonghen will be fully fit to start this match. Lloris has been in excellent form lately. Hope he will continue his good form. Everton have players who can score long range goals. We need to tackle that long range shots and avoid giving away freekicks near our goal.

Everton are in good form. So they will make it hard for us. This is going to be another tense match. As usual, we need to get an early goal to help settle our nerves and then go for more goals to kill the game off. Let's hope we will turn up with the right team and mentality to beat Everton and finish in top 4 this season.

Any kind of result or series of results that sees us qualify is fine by me.
A huge but ultimately futile win for Liverpool would be nice and demoralising.

So much more bothered about Leicester than Burnley. Third matters.

I agree. I'm slightly apprehensive that so much of the talk has been about hanging on the 4th, rather than getting 3rd. We're far more likely to get 3rd than slip to 5th as it is. Think its an unhelpfully wrong mindset to be in - hopefully Poch makes sure the players are focussed properly

Some injuries for Arsenal and Liverpool today would be helpful. Would be extremely peeved if Arsenal won the EL and therefore not only ended up in the CL but also in a high CL seeding pot than us for next year

Everybody dance now!

Hope all the results will go our way to help us finish in top 3 in the league. After finishing in top 3 for the past 3 seasons, it will be disappointing if we don't finish in top 3 this season. Everton won't make it easy for us. But we must win this match to go into the CL final in good mood. Let's hope we will put up a good performance and get a convincing win over Everton to finish in top 3 this season.

You’re right. Hope Ozil doesn’t get injured.
