Cheatski are still scum

Would the Pulsic deal go through? Is that why they wrapped it up in Jan?

They'll put an appeal in so that the ban doesn't come into effect until after the summer window. That'll give them a chance to stockpile but they'll have to pay over the odds to do it.

And they have so many youth players. With the right coach it could work in their favour. Reinvent their ethos, and give stabilty. fukers :)

Should help us tho, they always seem to snare our targets.

The youth players are only there to sell at a profit and help them meet FFP. The biggest issue that they have is that Abramovic seems to have lost interest since his visa was refused.

I wonder about that. He's clearly abashed. Why should I spend my money when they don't want me. But is he watching on his yacht? Effectively playing football manager from afar? If he sold up, the new owner would also be a billionaire. Would be more funny if he took out his distain on chelsea and ran them into the ground.

A billionaire owner is no guarantee of success, look at what Randy Lerner did to Villa and the Venky's at Blackburn.

There isn’t any quality difference in the players they use and the ones on loan, there is a list here,

https://www.chelseafc.com/en/teams/on-loan-players

I reckon you could get two elevens out of that better than the PL team for this season.

Who was the last manager they had who could develop players?

Gullit/Vialli?

It obviously needs a rethink, but their first team is such a shambles and they have a two window ban, there will never be a better time to do it.

If they are smart this summer they can start next season with a third of the wage bill and a squad of unknown potential with zero threat of relegation.

This is a gift for them.

I can't see them taking it

If Carlsberg did obituaries, they would look like this:-

“Here lies the former Chelsea Football club. A club established in 2001 by a Russian Gangster. They had 42 managers in their short history and bought the league title several times - along with 238 African orphans introduced on their “yoof development program”. The EDL have since seen a huge uplift in their membership and have opened the Headhunter division (although there is no Chelsea connection there - apparently)

Their non racist fans (about 34%) have now run off to ‘support’ Emirates Marketing Project (because it turns out their Gran once went to Stockport).

The last manager, ‘honest’ John Terry was seen leaving the ground, crying with his best mates wife consoling him.”

We all know the appeal will give them the summer to stock pile
Their issue is the players they will lose to fill an already bloated squad that doesn't meet the home grown criteria and will probably lose this summer
Luiz - out if contract
Cahill - out of contract
Giroud - out of contract but may stay...
Higuain - loan and will only stay if Sarri does
Kovacic - loan finished
Both reserve keepers are out of contract

Willian and Pedro and hazard and Hudson all have one year left and IMO will want to leave for various pay days

Add in players like Drinkwater who dont get games and Christiensen who wants to leave and their fudged IMO

The ban will hurt them hugely whenever it kicks in as it restricts their model

This just sounds too good to be true??!

No doubt it will be whittled down to a ban just for two weeks in January 2020 on appeal once Roman can get his cashflow sorted between Tel Aviv and Geneva....oh well...

I also wonder who the other 4 clubs meant to be on the verge of being banned are; so City and the Sancho issue counts for one - and might explain the bulk-buying they did in summer 2017 knowing this day might come...i wonder who else...

Imagine the lolz if WE were one of the teams - and have been banned unofficially:D:eek:

[Only Joking]

Anyway, after City, who else? I go for Liverpool, Watford and Leicester...

Didn't Liverpool already get found guilty of this before? So I assumed that it was another club

My sisters partner who also works in the law is involved in a case to do with Nottingham Forest he specialises in contract law and apparently the were some big tax dodges with the deal that when the current owners brought into it. He is an interesting guy, use to work in the British Virgin Islands and deal with maritime law. My sister is currently working as a law adviser for the home office which is also quite interesting at the moment...

Seems from what Andrew was telling me, the is a lot of very dodgy things involved with the takeover for Forest.

All of our foreign youngsters have been resident in the UK it was a deliberate ploy to get local boys. Can only think of one player the Belgium keeper from our youth team who has come from overseas.
