Today Aguero became City's highest goalscorer ever.

I remember people on here saying "Nah, he's a bit small, he won't make it in the Prem, let City have him, we can do better, he's no loss..."

Class player.

I still remember when the club amusingly tried to convince everyone that it had bid for him, Giuseppe Rossi and Llorente for 30 million each with an hour to go on deadline day. :p I think it was the January window in 2011.

Very much the defining Prem striker of the last decade.

Henry was arguably a better all round player but Ageuro and Drogba are without doubt the two strikers you would want playing for you in a big game. Aguero also has the best goals to game ratio of any striker in the premier league over a certain number of games to IIRC?

Best striker of this decade in the PL.

I am glad we won of course but it also means complaining about the referee is not done in angst. He was awful today, Son had already been fouled and not given a free kick before the yellow he go for what was a penalty. Then Llorente got pushed in the back that lead to them having a good chance. Lots of our players getting pushed in the back and no cards. Maddison goes down in a lump and its a penalty straight away. The referee was a joke. Its a good job the linesman were professional.

Llorente played ok. A few nice lay offs but not enough threat in the box really. Erikesen gets plaudits for his goal but he was totally unable to get the ball to Fernando. On the two chances he could get it into the box he hit the first man much like his corners. Winks had a nice game. Jan looked slow today and got caught a few times. Son! I dont know where he gets all this energy from. That man deserves a massive break in the summer. Thought Rose was great today and gave us a real full back / Wing back performance. WE really need a defensive midfielder back. So Dier! stop wussing out with a cold, and Victor!! get your act together.

We scraped a win we did not deserve today. Leicester had us all over the place. Even with 5 back they opened us up for the goal. Leicester have a nice young team with pace and energy and we looked weary despite our biggest break between games in a long time. We hung on and Son caught them out. Glad with the three points but the game was a little too scary for me.

That Tielemanns player looks a find... sort of adds a pinch of salt to Poch saying we could find decent players that would have suited us.

It's more that we aren't sufficiently clever and flexible, me thinks. And - ironically - we actually had a player in Nkoudou who Monaco wanted... and we ended up giving to them!

Michael Oliver's on his way to your place to book you for this.

Agreed. It’s nonsense that there aren’t players out there who could improve us. Either we’re skint or we’re being too picky in the transfer market.

Agree. Tielemans looked class. Not sure why we didn't want him.

Or the players that could improve us don’t want to come here

I’m never wrong, but sometimes I may be less right

Leicester or London? Puel or Pochettino? Mid-table or Champions League? Jonny Evans or Toby & Jan?

I guess you are less, less, less right in this case...

Missed this what did he say?

“Today do you think that Sonny deserved to be booked?” Pochettino asked. “Unbelievable, unbelievable, unbelievable.

“When you compare the situation with the penalty against us, unbelievable. The problem is I told Michael Oliver, the situation of Liverpool in the last minute that should be a penalty, to maybe 2-2, maybe 2-1, but it was a clear penalty. It was the same referee but now I don’t know how he has measured the situation. It is so difficult. I am a person that always accepts the mistake but I think it was so strange the situation today. It was so clear the position today with Sonny, the action, but it wasn't clear the position of Maddison when he was on the floor. I think it is unbelievable.”
