Summer 2018 transfer thread

Well, having ranted yesterday, today I wrapped in calm acceptance, grateful for the timebeing we seem to have kept players again and knowing we do have a great squad. And the best ground in London/the country about to open. Worried we'll have a slow start (though City don't seem to have) with the WC players ariving back late, but player for player, we are where we were, and that's pretty good.

Except Ben Davies needs to learn to run faster.

I guess if we're:

Lloris
Sanchez Alder Verts
Trippier Davies
Dier Dembele
Lucas Eriksen
Kane

That's not half bad.

It's even better with Dele in it

I really think now is the time to loosen the purse strings and that Levy is getting this badly wrong. However, his tenure has been an incredible success and he has improved us in a way that no other club has managed without a sugar daddy. Under him, if we fall, he’s made sure we’ll never fall very far. I still have faith in him, he’s the best chairman in the league, but I think he has caught lightening in a bottle with this manager and players and is allowing it to get away.

I wish i had a pound every time i have heard a Spurs supporter say the same thing over the last decade or so, looking at where we have come from i would say he has proved he is the right man who usually makes the RIGHT decisions.

You have a point but Levy is also not infallible and, as fantastic a job as he's done, he has made some pretty big mistakes along the way. I think this is another one and it will set us back a bit.

In other news Toby stays. A bizarre saga that eventually plays out to nothing. Toby and his entourage had a mare and now have to wait. Levy & Woodward had a battle of who’s got the biggest penis and everybody loses as Poch still wants him gone. Amazing stuff.

Damn! Reading the tweets from @SpursOfficial is depressing!
TEAM NEWS: @VictorWanyama is progressing well with gym-based rehabilitation for a knee injury.
TEAM NEWS: @ErikLamela has a short-term muscle injury and is expected to return soon.
TEAM NEWS: @JuanMFoyth is progressing well with rehabilitation from a thigh injury though is likely to remain sidelined for a few weeks.
TEAM NEWS: @HarryWinks and @Joshuaonomah10 have started to reintegrate back into first team training following their injuries.
TEAM NEWS: @cameroncv2 is in the early stages of rehabilitation for a groin injury.

Better hope the World Cup boys didn't eat too many pies during their short holiday!

Well i am sure that you and everyone else has never met someone who does not make mistakes, everyone does but Levy seems to make less then most chairman and the proof is where we are as a club now compered to when he first took over.
