A Fish Called Wanda is on Netflix at the moment. Mrs SoT vaguely remembered it being funny, and wanted to watch it last night; I vaguely remembered Kevin Kline being annoying and John Cleese being John Cleese, in that irritating way he was in Clockwise, so wasn't keen. But as this debate was live, I let her win.

We managed fifteen stony-faced minutes before giving up and putting on Nightcrawler, which I'd recommend without reservation to anyone who hasn't seen it.

Tough match-up as they are two remarkably different films. Blade Runner is one of sci-fi cinema's finest achievements...AFCW is very fudging funny.

Blade Runner, such a remarkable film in many ways - and indeed a real game changer/important movie in sci-fi.

But also one of those, "have to be in the mood..." movies, because if you arent feeling it its bloody boring.

I went to see Fierce Creatures at the cinema. It is one of the worst decisions I have ever made.
