Victimpool FC - Klopp leaving, grown men crying

I used to respect Liverpool.
Been up there 8 or 9 times, had a great day out always, decent interaction with their supporters, never any aggro for me...

...but the last few seasons they've been getting increasingly poor, and now, with Dalglish there, they have hit a low. Their fans appear to have become a total bunch of clams, and their side is packed with the sort of tossers and trumpers I cannot stand...Suarez, Adam, Carroll...they have become a desperate and scummy club, skiving whatever they can however they can.

I seriously hope we put them in their fudging places AGAIN Monday-week...no doubt the 'greatest supporters in the world' will present their usual, friendly selves...

Tossers!!!!!

well no, you would actually see his arms in the air celebrating

It wouldn't be too hard to find a frame before his hands are above his head in celebration which could be interpreted as him emulating a monkey.

The point I'm making is that, without video and / or audio evidence, that picture of the Liverpool fan is meaningless.

Nice chant from the Mancs

" It's never your fault, it's never your fault, always the victims, it's never your fault"

O:)

Sad thing is, the genuine tragedy of Hillsborough will be forgotten soon/drowned by the cacophony of whinging they perpetually engage in these days...

Claims a fan made a racist gesture during an FA Cup tie between Liverpool and Manchester Utd are being investigated by police.

Merseyside officers are reviewing footage of the match.

Match Commander Ch Supt Jon Ward said: "This matter is now under investigation by specialist hate crime detectives and we are working with Liverpool Football Club to identify the man in question."

Officers have released a picture of a man in connection with the allegations.

Mr Ward said specialist officers were reviewing match footage as a result of a picture posted on Twitter.

"We take all forms of offensive behaviour seriously, and we will always thoroughly investigate such claims," he said.

"We cannot allow this type of behaviour to affect the enjoyment of genuine fans.

"We will continue with our efforts to deal with the small number of individuals who commit offences at football matches, in particular, with the continued use of football-banning orders."

Supporters warned
Tensions were high at the match as it was the first time the teams had met since the racist incident between Manchester United's French defender Patrice Evra and Liverpool striker Luis Suarez during their league encounter last year.

The incident saw Uruguayan Suarez banned for eight games by the FA, who found him guilty of making racist slurs against Evra.

Saturday's match ended with Liverpool winning 2-1.

Before the match, the stadium announcer warned supporters that racist and homophobic behaviour would not be tolerated.

Police said 17 people were ejected from the ground during the game, adding that two people were arrested for "low level incidents".

But the force said the majority of fans were well behaved.

Police have urged anyone with information about the alleged incident to contact them.

I'm more concerned about LFC's stance after the incident than one fans in how many thousands (which is a frame and can be taken out of context). You can't tar the club based on the pic, do we really believe there isn't one single fan in our support who may do the same?

However the booing of Evra by a large section was awful, really awful...

ITV showed a racist at Anfield during the FA cup match between Liverpool and Man United today. But enough about Luis Suarez, they also showed a fan doing a monkey impression.

I can only see one fan acting a dingdong there, shouldn't tarnish them all the same. Every club has idiot individuals.

brick fans, brick manager, lot of fudging racists ...

So tinkled off that they are so far in two cups, can you imagine how insufferable they and the media will be if King Kenny wins something? (even if they come fudging 7th)

fair comment...but the neurosis is contagious and the PR handling has tarnished that club considerably.

Could swear I heard them sing a chant containing 'little ch*nk bastard' to the tune of the Suarez song. Am rpobably wrong though haha

Yet, the Kop were singing the Suarez song against Oldham after one of their player was apparently racially abused. Is there any need for that? They really are a bunch of idiots.

Desperate, grasping, grubby bunch, willing to stoop to any level to retrieve their lost perch. Still act like they're owed something. A good thrashing would be a start.

A 55 year old male was arrested last night in connection with racist chanting. Can only assume it was the guy in the photo. Would love to hear his defence!
Hope he enjoyed the last game he'll ever go to!
